No, they do not. This bag has a Velcro strip on the bottom that secures the middle compartment

It isn’t actually a Dopp kit…I am using it as a make-up bag and I got the black, too. It is kind of feminine. There are lots of Dopp kits available on here - I just got one for my nephew as a grad gift. I’d be more inclined to get one of them over this if it were for my son. That being said, I like this a lot and it very well made and spacious. Good luck!
