I would like to know how to store the open container? Ambient shelf means what ...can an open container can be stored without refrigeration or not?

Hi, easy to do. Get a coffee can that has the same size lid. Take the plastic cover off and use on the open cheese can. Put in refrigerator and it will last about two weeks.

I need a can pump for a can

You would be much better off with a heated pump for this can. You can put the contents into a crock pot and spoon it out, but it's messy to do so.

Can I boil this to make macaroni and cheese?

I did not boil the Chef-mate White Cheddar Cheese when making macaroni and cheese. I boiled the macaroni, drained it, then added the Chef-mate White Cheddar Cheese and baked for fifteen minutes and topped with cooked chopped broccoli and bacon bits. I do not know how the Chef-mate White Cheddar would taste or look after boiling.

Can you repackage in smaller amounts and freeze it?
