Works well, and helps to track water usage.
I picked these up with plans to revamp my watering system, and although it took me a while to get around to it, once I did, I enjoyed seeing my water usage with both of these. However, after the first year, I started to notice problems with one not measuring flow rate anymore, even though the battery was fine and the screen still lit up. The numbers just didn't increase. Then the other one started acting flaky, and neither one of them was recording flow, yet both still had power. (Update: that second one seems to be working again, for now, so I will put it back in the "flaky" category, not the "broken" category. The other one doesn't seem to want to play along, though.) Update #2: I am bumping this back up to five stars, because when I removed the one that wasn't working, I noticed that there was something caught in the tiny impeller blade that measures the flow, and once I cleared that out, it started working again just fine. It's not a very complex mechanism, it just has this tiny fan blade inside of it, and once it was clear, I could blow air through it and see the numbers increase. So, I once again recommend these, both are working, and if you run into any troubles, take it off and make sure you can spin the little fan inside. 👍

Seemed accurate
It arrived with a dead battery why the 4 stars . It appeared accurate, used to see how many gallons in my backyard fountain. Since it’s plastic not sure how long it will last but think it will be fine for my sporadic uses.

compact flowmeter with two meter readings. use this for trailer tank fills
useful dual reading gauge - for intermittent and total flow. helps in filling trailer fresh water tank. Although plastic, seems to survive my rough treatment.

Great Concept - But Built Like Crap
So I bought this water meter so I could keep track of water usage for my hydroponic garden. I chose it because it looked like exactly what I needed, had a replaceable battery and seemed like a reasonable price. Unfortunately, thats about where the value of this thing ends. I connected it, and immediately water started shooting out from around the seal with the spicket. I added some pipe tape around the spicket and re-attached it and it seemed to solve the first issue. After 2 uses and putting about 120 gallons of water through it the device basically fell apart. The portion that connects to the water spicket, stayed intact, but the rest of it literally shot off the end. Im fairly resourceful, so I took the part of the spicket, and saw that it was basically a sleeve that fit into the portion that flew off. Using some waterproof epoxy I set about to glue the sleeve back into the measure device. Seemed straightforward enough. I put a bead of epoxy around the bottom edge of the sleeve and set it back into the meter portion of the device. I let it dry and cure for 48 hours. I then reconnected it to the spicket, within 30 seconds of turning it on again with an open ended hose (testing it out before I put it under pressure) the entire thing fell apart again. Im not going to ask for a refund, since I tried to fix it myself, but this thing is a piece of crap. I definitely recommend buying something else and passing on this unit / brand altogether.

Works great
I’m always buying these new gadgets for husband for the RV and he kind of rolls his eyes at me. Well this one he was really happy with! He tested out the accuracy and it’s not exact but it’s close enough for filling the tanks on the trailer. Before this we had to run back and forth checking the gauge in the trailer, which we all know is likely not very accurate in itself. So it’s a nice little convenience for us.

Great little unit that is accurate..........
Purchased prior to taking a RV trip to Alaska for 4 months. I wanted to have accurate readings while filling my freshwater tank because I found the dummy lights in most RV's are not accurate at all. It worked perfectly for a while but then it actually came apart on the female connection end. Well, it's out of warranty but I'm now home and called the manufacturer through Amazon to see if they would still replace it for me. Without hesitation they said "No Problem" they would send me a new one. They indicated that I probably overtighten it on the hose which likely caused it to come apart. In any case, what GREAT service and understanding. This is a great little product and would highly recommend for all RV'ers on the road............

It's fine
Installed in May 2025 and ran about 800 gallons through it. October 2025 the battery died and lost the readings. Thankfully I looked at it last time it was used. The quality is - fine. But don't put any kind of torque up or down on the fitting or it will leak. If you over tighten it - it will leak. I am probably going to replace it with a mechanical meter.

Like the product but it does have a design flaw that impacts its readability - see video

Buen producto, para ser un producto pequeño, si cumple la función de medir los litros de agua utilizados, lo recomiendo para usos caseros.
