This is my first locomotive with sound and I couldn't be happier. The bells and horns are really nice. The locomotive is detailed well I'm a fan of dark colored locomotives, I also have a dark blue and yellow Santa fe with i like not a fan of the red one i have. Getting back to the Norfolk Southern i have run it a few hours now it responds well stays on the track the sounds work fine I'm happy with my purchase

This Bachmann Dash 8-40CW Norfolk Southern HO locomotive really does look and perform like the real thing. This unit runs very smoothly and produces very realistic sounds while getting under way, slowing down and at cruising speeds. The attention to detail in the painting and graphics is excellent. This unit has quickly become my favorite locomotive to operate.
