I am absolutely delighted with this Dekopro 300W orbital sander. I bought it to tackle a few DIY and upcycling projects around the house and garden, and it has made the job so much faster and easier than doing it by hand. The 300W motor packs a serious punch for its size. It strips back old paint, varnish, and rough wood effortlessly, leaving a beautifully smooth, flat finish. Despite the power, it is surprisingly lightweight and ergonomically designed, fitting comfortably in the palm of your hand so you can use it for longer periods without your wrist getting tired. The dust extraction system also works brilliantly, collecting the vast majority of the debris into the attached box and keeping the workspace remarkably clean. Swapping out the sanding sheets is quick and easy thanks to the hook-and-loop base, which holds the paper firmly in place with no slipping. For the price, the build quality and performance are outstanding it is a reliable, hard-working little tool that I highly recommend!

Much better than cheerful for a cheap orbital sander. For a mere £24.99 this far exceeded expectations. The unit arrives with a pack of different grade sanding disks to get you started too. The dust collector works reasonably well and was surprisingly full when I emptied it. It certainly cut down the amount of dust flying around albeit their was still some limited amount around. I had no trouble with the dust collector falling off and it seemed a fairly tight fit although others had problems with it falling off. I don't mind a corded unit although the cord is not particularly long and you'll probably need an extension cable. I found the fast speed setting far too rapid and used either speed 1 or 2. Note, you have to switch the sander off before you change the speed setting. Make sure you align the holes on the sanding sheet with those of the sander otherwise the vacuum cleaning dust collector will not work. Overall, a cheap simple machine that sands things down just fine. As for it's longevity, I can't comment as I've only used it for about an hour.

Super bit of kit! Bought it because it was cheap, a throw away necessity. It's turned out to be a hardworking reliable little friend. It's done a complete house renovation!! Sanded back all the walls, ceilings, bare plaster, paint. And most recently calked into action on a large parquet floor! You name it, I've not been kind to it either. It failed to 'orbit' on one occasion. A quick strip down revealed a dust and grit packed bearing, absolutely my fault... Cleaned out, regreased, and back into action. Buy quality abrasives, as you should. So impressed. This little fella has done HOURS of hard work. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

Waited a while before reviewing this one. Initially all was as expected. Good value, sturdy, easy to use and as described. However after a relatively short period of time the dust trap failed. This is due to the very small mounting (plastic) tabs which wear very quickly once the item is in use. After a short time the dust trap no longer adheres to the unit and falls off during use. As a cheap and cheerful throwaway item, you can't go wrong. However if you intend to get some serious and reliable use from this item then probably look elsewhere.

Fantastic but if kit for the price. I’ve always wanted an orbital and this ticks the box for the price. It’s not too loud and you get enough pads to start you off. It’s a great size and has been my go too sander for most jobs. Simple to use and 6 speed levels makes it’s simple to use. The finish we’ve achieved has been outstanding.

The DEKOPRO Random Orbit Sander has really impressed me. At 300W, it’s got plenty of power, and the variable speed control makes it easy to switch between gentle finishing and more aggressive sanding. Even at higher speeds, it feels stable in the hand with very manageable vibration. The included 16 sandpapers were a nice bonus and got me started straight away. Changing pads is quick and simple, and the sander gives a smooth, even finish without leaving swirl marks. The dust collection actually works surprisingly well too, which keeps the workspace much cleaner. For the price, this is an outstanding bit of kit. It’s easy to use, powerful, and perfect for DIY projects or smaller woodworking jobs. Highly recommended!

I rarely submit reviews, however, with this product I could not just let it slide. From day 1, the dust collector did not work. Every time this sander was used, the whole room would be filled with dust. I had to resort to purchasing a connector with a powerful Titan hoover. Today, after 2 months of occasional use, this sander has stopped spinning properly. It has damaged my walls as well. Future buyers, be aware, you have been warned.

Worked better than I expected for it to. It has different speed settings and is easy to use. It didn't leave any dust behind and was pretty quiet for the project I did. Fit my hand comfortably and sanded the hardwood floor and polish it perfectly. I was surprised that it performed so well.

Ho acquistato la DEKOPRO 300W Levigatrice Orbitale per scartavetrare alcune finestre in legno ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Lo strumento è potente e preciso, con una buona varietà di velocità che permette di adattarsi bene ai diversi tipi di lavorazione. La levigatura è risultata uniforme e veloce, e il sistema di raccolta della polvere funziona molto bene, lasciando l’ambiente di lavoro abbastanza pulito. Un altro punto a favore è la maneggevolezza: è leggera e comoda da usare anche per periodi prolungati. Unico piccolo difetto: la carta vetrata in dotazione non è il massimo in termini di durata, si consuma abbastanza rapidamente. Consiglio di acquistare a parte della carta vetrata di qualità superiore per ottenere il massimo da questo ottimo attrezzo.
