Fine cotton rope for projects.
This is a nice braided rope for hobbies and other projects. It is NOT the flimsy light-duty loose stuff that you might associate with macromy.

Does a good job
I used this cotton rope for my plants. Great for wicking water up to the soil. Nice length. Doesn’t smell and has good knot strength and it’s stiffness is perfect

Learn from my mistakes!
At the start of spring 2025 I hung two clotheslines with cotton rope (nothing bleaches white cotton sheets like the sun). By by fall both clothes lines looked kray-ZEE; stretched out so bad that when I looked out of my upstaurs window at my back yard the two lines practically formed an "O"! The only thing keeping my sheets from dragging on the ground were the strategically placed tall poles. I kept thinking how the clothesline my late mother used (from the house to a tree in the corner of the yard) hardly sagged at all. She probably knew not to use cotton and used nylon, instead... I just never got the word. So I did a quick internet search and learned NYLON clotheslines are "best for clotheslines" because they stretch out the least and that cotton should be avoided altogether. Unfortunately, I bought this nylon rope, and some clothesline tightening devices that will probably require TWO PEOPLE to properly install, too late in the year so I won't be able to definitively report my findings until Spring 2026. However... What I CAN tell you is this nylon rope is about 1/3 thinner than the cotton rope that stretched, which gave me pause. But, in a side-by-side pull-like-heck comparison, this nylon rope barely stretched when pulled, while the cotton rope "gave" A LOT! Explains what's happening in my back yard. So, 4 stars based on that. I'll be back in Spring 2026, after I've re-rigged the two ropes, poles, etc., to let you know how it worked out. If it works well enough, I'll get more rope and rig-up all four hooks between my two yard "T's."

As described and it looks nice and thick
Well, I just got it in and I wasn’t quite sure that it was long as the advertise so I measured the front side which was 9 inches and I times that by how many rows there was, and then I times up by two, and I added the 2 inches for the little extra piece that goes into the hole that hold it in place And the math added up… really happy about that-and it will work for what I needed to do with it The reason why I bought this rope is because I’m actually buying a metal shelving for canned goods and stuff and some curtains 72 inches long, which will fit the shelving that I am gonna buy and I’m gonna use the rope with the curtain on the top wrapped around that way it makes it look really nice and the front then you just slide the curtain over and grab whatever canned good or whatever you want off the shelf. Instead of it just being out in the open in my studio apartment and nobody will know what’s behind the curtain.. sometimes you just have to think outside the box to make things look nice. I don’t have the shelving yet so I can’t take a picture of it. I’ll be and put together but I’m letting you know what I’m gonna use the rope for and I’m gonna buy two carabiners and tie the rope and to carabiners and then clip them to the back of the shelving so that way it holds up and I’ll probably use a carabiner and the center to the front of the shelving so it’s not droopy.. when I get it put together if I remember, I will post a picture or video so you can see what I’m using for the rope

Great lace alternative
I love these alternatives to laces. I don’t like the style that have bulky clamps on them. I think it takes away from the look of the shoe so I liked the subtle metal claps these use to hold the laces in place. The claps seemed to secure pretty well. I haven’t had an issue with them falling off when installed as directed. They are the perfect amount of stretchy- enough to get your foot in but not feel sloppy.

Great Product with many uses.
This is a rope that has many different purposes. I have had this rope before and used it to encore large tarps with. It also works great for a close line.
