Oh, To Be Young Again
I can likely think up fifty reasons why a motorized scooter is a bad idea (what, no exercise?). Which is completely irrelevant to the purchase. If you were 7 years old again, would you want one. Yea, so would I.The shipping package was solidly constructed with olden days cardboard with multiple huge staples holding the slaps shut (I strained with a butter knife to remove them). Foam and zip ties holding things from moving on the inside. There was a beautifully printed instruction manual, but a few things did not translate well. It was stated in the instructions (and a warning notice hung on the handle) that the handle riser needed to be inserted in a matching slot on the front wheel riser tube. No provided stud on the riser tube. I think what was meant that the handle riser needed to be as low to the riser tube bearing nut as possible before securing the Allen bolts (Allen wrench thoughtfully provided). The instruction manual also mentioned a display on the handle bar area. No such display on my example. The machine itself was well made and should last a long time. It is reported to have a six mile range. I charged it up and figured out how to start it by using one hand to engage the foot pedal and the other to spin the back wheel. The hub motor on the back wheel whirled nicely. The manual boasted of two speeds, but I could not figure out how to do that (no doubt a simple task for a younger brain).I did not see an easy means of securing it with a bicycle lock and chain, which is a curious omission. A cable could be passed through an opening in the front wheel. It looks like a lot of fun to me.

Zippy Ride, Not the Most Comfortable
My 7yo is generally pretty lazy when it comes to doing outdoor activities, so I got this to pique his interest and see if it could be used to go a longer distance. After a quick charge and easy enough assembly, we were good to go. This is marketed for younger kids, and it’s pretty apparent that is the case. It has 2 speeds, which are basically a walking speed and a higher cruising speed that is appropriate for his age. It’s sized almost like a Razor scooter, so it’s definitely good for a certain age range. Even though it says it’s up to 14 and my 11yo fits the weight range, there’s no way he could comfortably ride this for any length of time because the deck is too small for his large feet. Even though the handlebars can be adjusted up, at 5’1” he’s too tall to use them, so the 14yo limit seems a little unrealistic.Onto a couple of smallish issues.1. After about 3 stop and go miles the scooter did start to lose a charge.2. The cover to the charging port keeps coming out. It’s also somewhat in the path of a kid’s foot, so they may further dislodge/detach the cover during use.3. The kickstand is a bit flimsy.4. Like a Razor, there is barely any shock absorption, so my kid’s hands hurt a lot after using this due to the vibration, and this was on a sidewalk, not the street. He still likes using it, but I’m sure over time that might become a bigger deterrent to use. It’s a fun and sippy scooter for a kid under 9, though it might take some practice for a kid who is 6, which is the lower stated age range. Maybe try this in an empty parking lot/school/park before trying to cruise on a main road in order to get used to controlling it.

Perfect for a 7yr old - he loves it!
The little person in my life (7yr old boy) LOVES his new scooter! I was initially a little worried about the speed and safety measures, but it's capped at a low speed (6mph) that's safe for his age group but also very fun for him. He previously only had a manual scooter, and he loved that thing-- so this is a hit! Love that this is adjustable so he can continue to ride the scooter as he grows. I wish the battery lasted a little longer, but at his age, he gets tired of things quickly, so the 45mins or so we get out of it before it needs a charge serves us well. Also, we all think the lights are rad.

Awesome children's scooter!
The controls, mainly the button on the bottom is a little non-intuitive at first, but once you get the hang of it, works great! Range seems to be a little less than advertised, but it is quick and fun! Great scooter.

Kids eScooter Review
This is a review of the KIDS eScooter, NOT the adult bike. The e-scooter was easy to assemble. It is sturdy and well-made. We took it onto some rough pavement and even a dirt path – it handled well but didn't have enough power to keep moving when the terrain got too rough. The estimated range of 6 miles was consistent with our longest excursion. The main limitation is the throttle, which consists of a single button on the deck which is operated by foot. There are only two modes: slow speed and fast speed. The rider pushes off on the ground to get a little momentum and then presses the throttle button to engage the electric motor. Slow speed is about 3 mph and fast speed is about 6 mph. Switching from slow mode to fast mode requires a double click, which my 8-year-old daughter was not able to do with her foot while riding. But if she stopped the scooter, she could use her hand to switch modes. After switching to fast mode, the scooter had a bit of kick from starting up to reaching fast speed. The kids love it, despite some of its limitations.

Lots Of Fun
I got this for my great grandson's 8th birthday. He loves it! I have seen him on his hoverboard so I knew he has a good sense of balance. He has been having so much fun riding it on the road in front of their house. They live in the country so he has a lot of road to ride on with almost no traffic. Lol, he let me know he thinks it goes fast. When they were on vacation earlier this year, he saw people riding scooters and started saying he wanted one. So did his Dad but this scooter is definitely more for an 8 year old and not his 30 something Dad. Lol, his Dad is just going to have to get his own.

Kids scooter/ Not adult
The product changed from a child's scooter to an adult scooter. With that being said, I can not give a fair review for the scooter shown.
