Gorgeous Colours
The colours are very vivid. Bought the set of three for my 6yr old autistic son who loves lights and it is a real hit. He enjoys the interactive control and remote too. Downsides - a little fiddly to connect up but once done it's fine - you also need to tap the centre to change the colours but he picked this up quickly - the remote isnt as responsive as would like. But for £15 in sale it is well worth it

Great buy!
Id recommend getting the larger version 3 is still brilliant though

They are OK I guess
Very awkward to put together and always comes apart easy, also when you tap they don't always work they are in the small side as well. Bought for my autistic son and he wasn't that impressed

Look great!
There is a bit of camera glare to the video attached to this review, so the video doesn't do the Hex Lights justice. In real life, they look fabulous. They are extremely easy to fit together, it takes just a couple of seconds. Just be sure to read the instructions carefully to make sure the connector arrows are facing the right way and are placed in the ports the right way up. Initially, two of the lights didn't work despite the arrows facing the right way, so I flipped the connector over, put them back in and that fixed it. They can either be wall mounted with enclosed self-adhesive sticky pads or stood on a surface using the supplied stand as shown in the video. The self-adhesive sticky pads mean they can be wall mounted without any drilling or screwing, so easy enough for a child to do. They are controlled via a remote control (battery included) or touch control. They look super, really pleased with them.

Not the best, but could be ok for a desk light
Not that impressed to be fair, They are made of cheap feeling plastic, the touch is only in the very middle, in fact you can see in the video the darker spot in the middle of each light is the touch button, which is a bit naff to be honest. The remote control basically does everything you can do by touching the light apart from the fact you can make the lights fade (ish) or jump from colour to colour, but they all do it uniformly, so you can't have different colours going off at the same time. If you want to make sure they don't move apart there are little clips that sit between each light, but I noticed that using those pushes the lights slightly apart so there is a gap between each light, rather than it being totally flush. If you want to have them on a wall, I assume you just use the peel and stick, stickers in the pack, but they look like if you stick them to a wall, the sticker would rip any wallpaper, or paint off if you decided to move them. Plus the USB cable has to be plugged in to use the lights. Not the best, but could be ok for a desk light. one of these days Amazon will wake up to letting us use 1/2 stars as this isn't really worth 4, but certainly deserves more than 3

Easy to put together, remote controls all units.
These small hexagon lights are bright and can be dimmed via the remote. The individual colour can be changed by pressing the hexagonal light shape, while any use of a colour or mode of the remote will set all linked lights to the same colour. Friends have asked if they are drums! I guess there is some resemblance, but they are not and don’t make any additional sound other than the tapping. To connect together there are power connectors and plastic pins which go into corner holes. I found the triple pin connector to be difficult to use, one would assume it should be used in the centre when playing all three on one corner, but it does not seem to fit without causing some stress to the other pin connectors. It seems fine as is. They are powered via USB-A wire, a 2m cable is provided. When power is applied the lights come on. And the only way to turn them off is via the remote control or by removing the power. It is possible to power each individually, but only one has the IR receiver for the remote control.

Magic glow
Well built hexes. Vibrant and strong colours. The glow is nice mat. Connecting it isn’t too complicated . You can do pretty much any shape when you have more then 3 hexes. All its connected with small double sided USB a connector that hides on the back and it’s secured with small pins. Attached to wall with double sided 3m like tape. All powered by single usb a to USB a cable. Only one cure responds to IT receiver but all works just fine. It can be controlled with remote and by touching centre of the hex to set any colour desired. Brightness can be controlled too for night glow or to brighten entire room. I am quite happy with this product making great addition for me boys room

Interesting idea, but feel a little cheap for the current price.
You receive three connectable lights here, in a nicely branded box, along with a USB cable (but no AC adaptor), some connectors, a plastic stand, remote and a set of double sided sticky pads. Everything here is very plastic... Because it obviously is plastic! But it all feels rather cheap and cheerful, rather than slick and premium. The stand is a clear plastic bracket, which attaches via one of the sticky pads rather than a physical connection. The sticky pads themselves aren't great either. The method of connecting the hexagon lights together is adequate, but is a tad fiddly and doesn't feel sturdy. The lights themselves are quite effective. They're bright, and cycle through the colour spectrum quite nicely. You can set each hexagon to a different colour by tapping the light, or have each light cycle through colours via flashes or fades. If setting them with a manual tap, you can get the lights to fade or flash through different colours separately - using the remote, you can only choose the same colour across all of the pads. The tap function isn't particularly great. You have to tap quite firmly on the light's centre. I imagined the touch function might be similar to that on touch pads found on drum machines and the like, but it isn't. The remote is a bit naff. It isn't very positive to use and doesn't have much of a range. A couple of times it hasn't worked at all and I've had to fiddle with the battery compartment to get it working again. So the overall impression here is a bit bargain basement, which is a shame as the lights actually look quite effective when illuminated and the pack comes in a nice box. Having each light either connected, or powered individually (with the use of a couple of spare USB cables) is quite useful - although for the chunky depth of the light, you could probably fit a rechargeable battery in there too, which would make them more flexible in use. Perhaps if they were better value I would be happier to recommend these, but at £22.99 I'm not sold.

Great beginner lights
I bought these for my 8 year old autistic son. He absolutely loves them! I love that the remote can set a timer and brightness. I do think that these are fairly cheaply made, as some of the USB ports arent aligned. But for the price I find it hard to be upset about that. They work great and I hope they withstand the abuse. LOL

Lights up his giggles
When I first purchased this he wasn't showing much interest just turning 3 years old.. He is autistic. Now he is almost 4 and loves these. I am so happy we purchased this. Patience pays off. He giggles and loves to see these different colors. Great product for us.

So fun for my sensory needing toddler!
These look amazing, the color is amazing, and they are easy to use. Putting them together was simple and more can be added on very easily, and then it came with wall stickers to put on the wall easily. These are in my 3 year old sons room and have so far lasted over a month in there at his height level so he can use them. He likes them overnight at bedtime and I also bought them for him to use when he needs to calm down. He is able to easily control them himself with the remote but they also work by touch which I like. I will 100% by more of these in the future and will come back to this brand.

This product is not Autism friendly.
I am honestly mixed in my feelings of this device. The thing I like about this is that it does what it says, it gives you lights that you can alter the color of and the fact that you do have a remote control that actually works is a plus. What I don't like is the very cheap construction of the device it's self. the clips that allow you to connect them together don't fit properly, the connectors that go between each light is really cheap and it adds to the complication when your using the clips to hold the three of the lights together. The table stand is really garbage and has no real purpose what-so-ever, and the fact that you can use double sided tape that is included to stick to the walls is also a bad idea. The one thing I really really have a problem is when the term "Autism-Friendly" is used. Making people with Autistic children think this is a good idea need to really make sure that their child does not have PICA, or is prone to breaking things as this will break very easily. I would not buy this for anyone with an Autistic child as there are better products out there that are sturdier.
