Absolutely Perfect – These RGB Lights Took My Setup to the Next Leve
I can confidently say this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my gaming and work setup. Right out of the box, these RGB light bars were incredibly easy to assemble. No tools, no complicated instructions — just plug them in, place them behind or beside your monitor using the included stands or adhesive, and you’re ready to go. The setup took me less than 10 minutes, and the result was instantly impressive. What really blew me away is how much of a difference these lights made in the overall vibe and feel of my space. The vibrant, customizable lighting completely transformed my desk into a futuristic, immersive zone. Whether I’m gaming, working late at night, or just relaxing with music, the ambient lighting adds a sense of depth and energy that makes everything more enjoyable. Plus, the colors are rich, smooth, and easy on the eyes — no harsh glare, which helps reduce eye strain during longer sessions. One of the best features is the ability to control everything with a smartphone app. You can easily switch between preset scenes, adjust brightness, change colors, or even sync the lights with music or gameplay for dynamic, real-time effects. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and highly personalized. The lights fit perfectly with the rest of my setup — the purple tones match my mechanical keyboard, mouse pad, and background lighting to create a cohesive, stylish aesthetic. This product doesn’t just look great — it also offers practical benefits. It enhances visibility, reduces strain from bright screens in dark rooms, and adds a clean, professional look that would impress any visitor, viewer, or client. Whether you’re a casual gamer, hardcore streamer, or remote worker looking to improve your space, these lights are a total game-changer. Bottom line: they’re affordable, easy to install, stunning to look at, and packed with features. If you’re thinking about upgrading your setup, don’t hesitate — these RGB lights are 100% worth it. Everyone should have a pair. Room is coming together

Easy setup and great quality
The box works great and is easy to set up. Only dropping a star because it requires external HDMI output to get the video feed so would not work with a smart TV.

Make movies and Games Come to life!
Best light quality, easy to assemble! Used it for a different scenario, with a LG 60” TV and makes every movie come to life. Make it also best for cable management with multiple HDMI devices.

awesome RGB control box
I'm loving this product so far. It was easy to setup and the AI feature works great. I tested it in League of Legends. It syncs up with my existing lights and looks great. You dont have to use the passthrough either you can use a splitter. I'd recommend setting it up that way.

Probably Better to Wait for Updates
The set up and install is pretty easy and I'm able to get 144hz through the box which is pretty huge. I believe it'll do 10 bit color at 120 Hz but for 144hz it goes down to 8 bit. If I remember correctly, I don't believe that was a limitation of the display beforehand. The lighting works great in SDR content. The lighting is very bright even if the colors are a little off. There are two negatives for me. 1. HDR is not working at all. If you intend to use this with HDR content, I'd say wait for now. I'm not sure if they can fix it in the future, but I'd probably hold off until they do. Whenever there is HDR content on the screen all of the lighting gets super washed out and the colors don't match at all. If black is shown on the screen, the lights will turn green instead just turning themselves off. In SDR it works great, but HDR not so much. 2. The app is not great. There are only a few settings to adjust the colors and saturation manually, but they don't really seem to do much. Also, there does seem to be much information about how the settings work or what they're supposed to do. Saturation you'll likely have to turn way down to get the colors accurate. Overall, I'd recommend waiting on some updates to resolve some of the early adopter headaches before pulling the trigger.

It’s very good, but it still hasn’t major flaws
I can’t tell you just how much this elevates the experience of any TV but for gaming and movies once you have it you can never go without it. It’s such a big difference. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever buy a TV again without one of these sets or something like it. BUT!!!!!! Beware It’s by all means not perfect. Not even close. It has constant issues recognizing there is a signal going through the HD airports and you have to cycle through them. It blocks the vision from getting through even though the advertise it can it doesn’t. It’s really easy to check you can’t get 10 bit color through it. It only does 10 bit as it’s max you cannot do over so no 12 bit Dolby vision HDR if you’re using this HDR and HDR 10+ get through fine but they are both 10 bit This is a massive improvement over the first Guien like so much better. It shouldn’t be called the same thing because the first generation was horrendous. How anyone bought it and kept it I can’t imagine but this is a genuinely good product with some major floss.

Don't go cheap
I thought I would dave some money and try and Govee product. Just don't buy this garbage for the outrageous price. If you're able to, spend the extra money and invest in Phillips, you won't regret it. The color match and ease of switching inputs makes the Govee functionality practically prehistoric. Easy to install but that's about it.......

No Scenes
Best ever Govee light because it might be a little bit pricey but you won’t regret it everything is great the ease of installation, color option , functionality ,value for money but there is a small problem and it is that it doesn’t have ANY good scenes it just has 20 and the scenes are really bad also the brightness is great.

Great Product, Minor limitations.
Great product, Some limitations, and a little pricey. This is no doubt a cool product that works well outside of 4K on high refresh rates, and VRR. It is also limited with the HDMI when running a multiple monitor setup. For your average gamer with 1 Monitor, and you can afford this and game at 1440 or 1080...Buy It! It enhances the experience so much. Where the limitations come into play. At 4K it advertises that it can handle a higher refresh rate (VRR and 144Hz) I find anything over 120Hz my monitor will not accept that refresh rate. Also, I tried adding this to my TV 55", it does not have the ability to power a longer LED light strip. The side lighting post work with the TV. My 5080 graphics card only has 2 HDMI ports, and my prior 4080 only had 1 HDMI port. The limitation this has is multi monitor set-up. My HDMI port is used for a sensor panel. So I did DP to HDMI cable into the Govee box... The lighting works fine doing this. However the output to the Monitor is only 60Hz and will not support VRR. It needs to be only HDMI all the way through. Adapters kill the refresh rate. However the lighting still works.
