SOG Shadow Spear I/HQ Edition/7.67" BLADE/43.8" Over/Clam PK

It's built well and seems durable. It's not a thin off brand blade. Balanced well and not to heavy. You should just buy it... everyone needs one.

Awesome spear to have on hand

Overall it's not bad it's actually cool but it has issues it's not sharp but the point is great. It's not for throwing it is a thrusting weapon it's weight is sufficient but not heavy. It has a decent grip it could have been much better with a wooden shaft or aluminum filled nylon something with great flexibility and strength along with enough weight.

This falls under the classification of a javelin and not a spear. If Classified correctly I would give it 5 stars. Good weight, nice blade length. I would like the ability to get additional spearheads rather then have to buy a whole additional one if I break the blade. (IF).

This thing is cool. Seems very well made for the price. Head is heavy steel with a sharp tip. Handle feels like fiberglass with nice grip pattern.

I love the weight of it. Planning on buying a second one.

I bought mine from Tractor Supply as part of my knife and blade collection. Honestly, it is dangerous. The length of the shaft is insufficient to make this good to carry very often. One trip and you would be at the Pearly Gates.However, the blade isn't bad. It is sturdy enough that wood targets do not break the tip. It is easy to use. The shaft is tough and, itself, is an impressive weapon.If SOG was to do this right, the shaft would be 50% longer. As it is, I cringe at the thought of a teenager or inexperienced person getting harmed while walking with it.

Seems to be of good quality and finish.
