Have a laptop with Type c connector and very few other ports. This was the best solution to the problem. The ports fro this device are also sturdy & all cables can be plugged in & out easily. Connecting the laptop to TV is also easy with the HDMI port. Card reader works fine & fast. Tried connecting all ports & everything was working perfect. Recommended.

I bought it for a simple purpose of having just one cord going in to my work laptop and the task of the dock is to display via HDMI on my 3440x1440 monitor and deliver power to the laptop. With native resolution it does 60Hz which is perfectly enough for work. I connected my dell power brick directly to usb c on the dock and it delivers power without any issues or overheating - I was I bit worried as it is tiny. Most of the exterior is aluminium and there's blue led(s) inside the dock which makes finding ports easy without being to bright and distracting. Not planning to ever have to use any of the usbs but the card reader definitely will come useful although I haven't tested it's performance yet. If I had to be picky I'd fancy 4 silicon sticker feet as it's light and I think it could help to stop it moving around while heavy cables like HDMI pull on it with their weight - I'll get some from Wilko so not an issue.

It works most of the time however, every now and then especially after a long sleep, the hub loses its connection to my HDMI monitor. I then have to unplug and plug the hub again which is quite annoying. The colour and portability work really well. The only other negative would be the lack of a network port.

So recently bought a new Mac Mini and as with many latest model Mac computers it's loaded with USB C ports. Wanted to be able to make the most of them so bought this to give me options. Not a lot to say about it other than it does it's job. Would have liked the cable to be a little longer so it would sit exactly where I want it, but it's probably perfect length if I was using it with a MacBook. Looks nice and has a high quality feel and apparent build quality. Would recommend for anyone looking to get hte most out of their Macs USB C ports. Worth noting I've only used the USB ports and card reader slots. Not had the chance to use the USB C pass through or HDMI ports.

Brought this as I have been given a new laptop from work, to work from home. But it has 2 usb A ports, 1 usb c and only 1 HDMI port. But after plugging in a keyboard and mouse and 1 monitor I have no more ports for another monitor and headset. Works greats now I have 3more extra ports and extra display. No installation needed, just plug and play. Works with both my sumsung and Huawei mobile (Dex and emui desktop) as well my son's Chromebook. Very useful for expanding Usb ports and adding a additional display.

The item work as expected but not really since the Type C connection has only power output but no data transfer. Thought it was implied in the argument of “all the function of Type C” but it is like this… meh, it works for what it works but makes me feel like I want my money back 😅

My Mac Book Pro (MBP) came with the new USB C connector leaving me searching for a converter for all my normally used accessories. This Hub did just the job and fantastically! It has just the right amount of connections and with a HDMI output which is excellent for streaming if you don't have a smart TV. A very robust feel and asthetics to match the MPB this device is a winner and comes in at so much better value that it's weightier priced apple equal. Recommended.

I spent two weeks troubleshooting my brand new 2018 Macbook pro (and on another 2017 Macbook just to be sure) with intermittent mouse connectivity issues. Turns out it was this hub all along. The hub is actually really good otherwise and solid and nicely designed and was working perfectly otherwise, but I had to return it due to this defect, as my mighty mouse 2 (and a cheaper sandstrom version) continually dropped out.

Parfait, fais le bouloot sur mon galaxy note 9 mais aussi sur mon pc portable qui n'a que 2 ports usb et un port usb c sur lequel je branche ce produit. Ca me permet d'avoir plus de port usb. Fonctionne parfaitement

Acabo de comprarme un portatil gaming que empleo también para el trabajo, y aunque trae las últimas conexiones y hasta tres USB, necesitaba otras conexiones como el lector de tarjetas que aun uso, pero que los portátiles actuales raro es el que trae. De este me gustó que la conexión fuera USB-C , de momento no pierdo un puerto USB para usarlo, y además al llevar el mismo otro puerto USB-C me permite estar cargando a la vez el móvil. Lo compre para el portatil, pero el puerto USB-C me permite usarlo tambien con mi Samsung S8, de momento solo lo he probado para leer tarjetas de memorias, pero eso abre la posibilidad de leer discos duros USB, y mostrar contenido del movil en una tele con HDMI que no le pueda pasar la información por red como a las nuevas. Los puertos USB son iluminados, que en principio parece una chorrada, pero normalmente trabajo por la noche con poca luz y me está resultando útil. El tema de los lectores de tarjeta era fundamental, pues empleo ambas y he podido probar que la micro de 128 Gb funciona sin problemas, y una tarjeta fotográfica de 64 Gb. Aunque el equipo tiene ya una salida HDMI, voy a darle uso a la segunda que me aporta al contar el equipo dos tarjetas gráficas y tener dos monitores para trabajar en diseño. EL diseño es ligero, es metálico y el cable está muy protegido, tiene buen grosor.

Ich nutze diesen Adapter für mein MacBook Pro (2018) und er funktioniert einwandfrei. Habe bereits alle Ports (USB, HDMI, SD etc) getestet und bin sehr zufrieden. Bislang sind keine Schwächen festzustellen, insbesondere keine negativen Auswirkungen auf die WLAN Verbindung, so wie man das in Rezensionen zu vergleichbaren Adaptern gelegentlich liest. Vor dem Kauf ist mir aufgefallen, dass es 2-3 Adapter mit identischem Aussehen (gleiche Produktbilder) und exakt den gleichen Funktionen gibt, jedoch 5-10€ teurer (warum auch immer). Sofern es sich tatsächlich um den selben Artikel handelt, kann man sich den Aufpreis meiner Meinung nach sparen und getrost zu diesem hier greifen. Er tut was er soll problemlos!

Bought this for a friend, tried it out with a Huawey P10 Lite and doesn't work but with his Samsung Galaxy S10 does work like a charm. Want to buy one for myself but not sure if it will work with my Ulefone Armor 3 as I wasn't able to try it out with it.

Aparato muy útil. Funciona perfectamente y a una velocidad alta en comparación con otros conversores que he utilizado, ya que ralentizaban mucho la importación de archivos y este no. La unica pega que podría ponerle es que el cable es muy rígido y para guardarlo molesta un poco.
