Real metal! Doesn't feel like the cheap metal chairs I usually purchase. They feel secure, they are a good height for counter top to bar top, the material is decent and the padding is comfortable for all day use. One that I purchased had an issue with the lift part and it was quickly and easily resolved with the company, who seemed to be located in the USA. Also, very well packaged, super easy to assemble with extra bolts and the tool for assembly included. I have no complaints.

For a guitar player, it works fine. The adjustable height is the critical part. Assembled easily and works well for the price. Not very cushy seat but it would cost triple get a real comfy drum throne. I'm happy with it.

I ordered this for my office. It is very easy to assemble, it is really comfortable to sit in, and it looks really nice. It's sturdy and durable. I like that I can adjust the height of the seat, the backrest, and the height of the foot rest. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the foot rest slides all the way down occasionally and I have to readjust it. Not sure why it does this? I would buy this chair again and would recommend.

This drafting chair has worked out very well for my electronics workbench setup. I love this chair! It is great for easel painting as the height is adjustable and it swivels with ease. If it had brakes, it would be 6 stars. Good quality for the price.

Great chair- easy to assemble and very sturdy

The height was exactly what we needed it to be. It is stable and durable and does look nice. Unfortunately the wheels are not the best so we bought upgraded wheels and replaced them. After a short time the seat cushion does not maintain its cush for very long. We would not by this again.
