Not bad for a soy protein
Soy protein is great in so many ways, especially if you're vegan, but I will say this struggles where other soy proteins do. It doesn't shake as easily. The price point is fine, albeit a touch higher than some of my favorite non-soy, flavored proteins, but if you're looking for a smoothie additive that won't impact taste (much), this is a solid way to go.

Great neutral tasting powder
This protein powder is a great additive to food when you want to up the protein intake. You can add it to a shake, or even to your oatmeal! There are endless possibilities with this one.

Easy protein source
Pea protein will stay gritty no matter what, but its ok because you get your protein in. You will probably need to add flavor or else this is so bland. Price is good as always with the brand.

awful taste
This has a very terrible taste. I probably will end up throwing this in the trash can.

Nutricost Soy Protein Isolate Powder
I have been mixing this protein with my whey protein so I cannot speak to taking this alone. I do like that this protein has 0 carbs and is a complete protein. This protein is soy based while the protein I mix it with is whey based. It mixes well and I can't tell a difference in the taste. I have mixed it with milk only so far. Though, it is pretty high in calories at 40 for a 1 1/2 tbsp serving size. Tastes much better than pea protein. Good option for an alternative to whey or an addition.

Solid Choice for Low-Carb Protein Shakes
I recently decided to try a soy protein isolate powder as a change from my usual whey protein routine. What initially caught my attention was the fact that this protein powder has absolutely zero carbs, which is perfect for my low-carb diet. However, it's worth noting that it does come with higher calories compared to some other protein options, so that's something to keep in mind if you're counting calories closely. One of the first things I noticed about this soy protein isolate is that it mixes pretty well with other ingredients in my shakes. While the flavor on its own might not be the most appealing, when blended with fruits, vegetables, or even just a bit of cocoa powder, it becomes quite palatable. I've tried mixing it with almond milk, a banana, and a spoonful of peanut butter, and the result was a surprisingly tasty shake. In terms of texture, it's quite smooth and doesn't leave any gritty residue, which is a definite plus. It also doesn't have the chalky aftertaste that some plant-based proteins, like pea protein, tend to have. Speaking of which, I find this soy protein isolate to be significantly better than pea protein in both taste and texture. The higher calories might be a drawback for some, but if you're using it post-workout or as a meal replacement, it balances out well.I also appreciate that it's a complete protein, providing all the essential amino acids my body needs. This is particularly important for those who follow a plant-based diet and want to ensure they're getting enough protein. While it might not be my top choice in terms of flavor, this soy protein isolate is a solid option, especially if you're looking for a low-carb protein powder. It's versatile enough to mix with various ingredients, making it a convenient and effective addition to my daily nutrition routine. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're open to experimenting with different types of protein powders.

Great way to add a protein boost to just about anything
I found myself adding this protein powder to just about everything. Vegetables, cookies, oatmeal, protein shakes - you name it. It worked really well. The serving size is smaller than other protein powders made by different companies. However, I think this may be intentional as the powder has a soy flavor to it that can make it less appeasing when used in large quantities. I don't count this against the product though since when adding the recommended serving size to various dishes the flavor is not all that noticeable. Additionally, I've tried a lot of unflavored protein powders before, and all of them have had some sort of taste to them. This one is no exception, but the smaller serving size encourages people to use an adequate amount. The instructions on the container are clear on how much liquid to add when making a protein drink. When used as instructed the powder is diluted enough that the flavor is hardly present. It also dissolved very well when added to water. The resulting protein drink was thin but not gritty. It was easily drinkable. The powder worked great in other dishes too. When I added a scoop of the protein powder to a bowl of oatmeal, I hardly noticed the powder. I even tried blending it with some mashed potatoes and it turned out fine. The possibilities for this protein powder are pretty much endless. I wouldn't use it as a meal replacement, but it's a very nice option if you want to add a little protein boost to your meals.
