Fantastic no nonsense guide
On one of the first pages he's like "here are 6 scales forms. Memorize them, and then check out the etudes on the next page"It'll probably take me a week to learn each form lol, straight to the action. If that's your style also, go for it

This is a great book - a quick easy-to-navigate entree to all of the scale work from the famous 3-part Leavitt Berklee guitar series. Larry Baione is intimately familiar with The Berklee guitar method books, having worked at Berklee with Leavitt and then taken over the helm of the guitar Berklee department after Bill. It's all laid out nicely, easy to read, and a lot of nice original material and scale-oriented etudes as a bonus! - Dave Askren

Excellent.
This is a very good book to assist any guitar player in learning scales. It is clear and organized. The book contains fingering patterns and multiple scale exercises. I have noticed an improvement in a short time since I received the book. I highly recommend this book if one is serious about learning scale patterns on the guitar.

Another scale book.
The three books by William Leavitt, that this is tailgating, are the best method books ever written for guitar IMO and I have been collecting guitar books (and playing) since the 70's. The Leavitt books are a hard act to follow. But its large, a good thing, clearly written and there's a useful chord, scale relationship chart in the Appendix. It's another scale book, one of many available, and though not a necessary addition to the Leavitt guitar method, if you are looking for a scale book it’s a good place to start.

Amazing book of knowledge and your keys to the kingdom
Being a Berklee student and have personality taken the authors class, here is this book is everything you need to know to get up to speed if your looking to attend Berklee or any other music school. These are the foundations every guitar play need to possess young or seasoned. This book is just one part of the bigger picture, triads, arpeggios and more should all be added to your knowledge base as eventually the fretboard will open up to you like the painters canvas! There’s no such thing as a prodigy Guitar Player it’s all about what you put into it and how you conceptualize the fretboard and at the end of the day you’ll be, master!
