I bought these as they are clearly advertised as “Self Tapping” and supposedly made of “Carbon Steel”.I’ve just tried to use them for the first time and was somewhat shocked and disappointed when the first screw I used snapped with very little force exerted on the screwdriver. I’ve just had to drill the remainder out and now need to source a decent alternative.Can I stress that this was going into aluminium sheet, not even steel. Unless you are going to be using them in soft plastic, I would suggest you avoid this product!Total rubbish!

Il set include viti di diverse dimensioni (M3, M3.5, M4 e M5), perfette per una vasta gamma di progetti, dal legno al metallo fino al cartongesso. La scelta di avere viti autoforanti e autoperforanti si è rivelata estremamente pratica, soprattutto quando si ha poco tempo o si preferisce evitare di fare prima un preforo. Un altro punto a favore è la testa piatta e quella cilindrica: entrambe assicurano un fissaggio solido e stabile, mentre la croce sulla testa rende l’installazione molto più semplice con un cacciavite standard o un avvitatore elettrico. La finitura nera opaca è esteticamente piacevole e dà un aspetto pulito e professionale al lavoro finito, il che è un dettaglio da non sottovalutare, soprattutto quando si lavora su superfici visibili. Un ulteriore vantaggio è il fatto che il set viene fornito con una pratica confezione organizzata: ogni dimensione di vite ha il suo scomparto, quindi trovare la misura giusta diventa facilissimo.
