I purchased this because I have those “aging eyes”. I love the light and the fact that you can charge it via USB. It really works great and has great magnification. Would recommend.

Good product works very well

I love this for reading at night. I usually use my kindle to read at night, but there are books I don't have on Kindle. The only problem is it is a little difficult to keep it at the right distance from the book to magnify the words clearly. But I have arthritis in both hands, and I can manage it quite well. I suggest it for those who like to read, but whose eyes aren't what they used to be.

This is a lightweight plastic, but that makes it easier to hold and use. I love that I can recharge instead of batteries. There is a small dial to control the light from dim to bright. And you can lay it on the book or lift it a bit to get more magnification. It even comes with a soft fabric bag so you can protect it if you pop it in a tote. Depending on the print size, sometime I just rest it against my body and use the light to read at night. I have cataracts, not severe enough to require surgery yet, but some books require more than just reading glasses, especially at night. So I love this.

The thing I like is the size and that you can read over a page with a nice bright light. The not so good thing is that the light blinks and needs to be recharged constantly. The plastic is really cheep as well.

This is a great little device. I love the light feature, you can adjust the lighting to your preference. When it needs charged the lights started to flash. The charge cord is very short but I have other lengths at home so I just used one of those. Yes, you have to hold it but I personally like that. I would buy this product again
