Does this have blind scan capabilities ?

This is a rather technical box. There is no blind scan out of the box. It needs a plugin written by the community. The current version does not seem to work.

what is the capacity of the hard drive

I haven't put a hard drive in, it was not sent with a hard drive. I need to know how to set this box up. What do I need to do to get it up and running? I have been asking the same question time and time again but not one is willing to help me. The box is sat there not doing anything ? I didn't even know I needed to buy a hard drive to get it started? Do you have a guide? apart from the hard drive, what else do I need to buy to set this box up?

Do you have uk power plug for vu ?

As this unit comes from Germany it is shipped with an European 2 pin mains lead which is not suitable for the UK. I had a spare UK mains lead. They are cheap to buy or you can cut off the Euro connector and fit a standard UK 13 amp plug
