Well made offshore jig
I haven't yet dropped this jig 150 feet down to waiting red snapper... but think this is going to be a great fish-getter. Well made, good assist hooks that are "sticky". Durability - I don't know, because it isn't yet snapper season. Likely some critters with teeth are going to scratch it... so what? If you want to bullet proof some jigs, put some extra UV hard resin on them (easy improvement). I really like the flash and paint scheme, which is already well proven to be effective with deep predatory (and very tasty) fish. Good quality and good price point.

Snapper like these!... I guess everything likes these...
Well made jigs! - hooks are sharp and strong! Think the jig does a bit of 'helicoptering" and had a problem with line wrapping around around the rod tip. That may be my technique though. Also, my preference is for a red gusset on the hooks and tether and some in the set are that way but, not a fan of black... and maybe a 1/2" longer tether, too. Again, that's my preference. Colors are good- I'm partial to iridescent blue- or green. Regardless, I've banged 'em into rocks and coral and finish has held up well... fish teeth do leave marks but, that's OK. I'm quite happy with these jigs- you will be, too. Oh, yeah, I know, hitched up the jig backwards... don't know what I was thinking when I did that... but, still worked-An addendum: braided line is the culprit for looping around the rod tip, NOT the jig. I've ordered three sets... and the little "satchels" they come in are cute. Now, just gotta find more fishing time...

Great looking lure
I go on 16 day long range trips out of San Diego for cow size tuna (>200 lbs). Jigging at night is a tried and true technique during the night with glow in the dark flat fall jigs. Been very successful, unfortunately the paint would chip off of previous purchased jigs when a fish is gaffed and dropped on the deck. Figured I would give Calissa jigs a try as they are advertised as having seven layers of paint and varnish and hold up to chipping. Very handsome jig, only concern are the assist hooks (hooks looks small and bendable for the size of the lune) may swap them out. Very excited to giver them a try.

Solid lure
I haven't fished this lure yet. I've been looking to pick up a lure similar to the Shimano flat fall without the price. These seem the be the same shape and style. The color is really nice, the assist hooks are sharp and seem to be ok, and I don't see any major issues with them that would keep them from catching fish.If they fail miserably, I'll update.

Slightly damaged
I was excited to receive this and my opened it right away. I noticed a few dents towards the hook end (I’m expecting it was poor handling maybe they dropped my package or something) I also noticed a crack in the paint towards the other end. Since the paint is cracked im expecting it to start chipping with minimal use but I really hope it doesn’t. I’m buying another color anyway and would still recommend these but I’m just slightly disappointed with the damage on this purchase (white 150g)
