LOW GI CLAIM IS NOT CORRECT
This low GI claim did not stand true for me. I have been checking my blood sugar levels 6-7 times a day to understand the effect of meditation/exercise and diet. Had been avoiding rice for its high gi/gl.I tried this rice today at around 6PM during my supper. My before/after meal blood sugar levels around this time are 100/120 mg/dl. Today I consumed 68g cooked & drained Active Matra Rice (Raw 17g) & my After-Meal blood sugar shot up to 163mg/dl.

A good replacement to the normal rice.
A good replacement to conventional rice that is as tasty and yummy, while being low GI. The key is however to keep it at 25% of the total meal content and balance to necessarily being vegetables and proteins.
