Have 2 8tb drives fitted in this. Works fine, I only use it for backups. Better to many backups then none.

Seems reliable and has a helpful display. I think it came with an EU plug which is annoying.

Tiene mucho campo de mejora
Tuve la caja un par de semanas tras lo cual decidí devolverla por varias razones: es una caja cara y por tanto le pido varias mejoras como un buen ventilador silencioso con menos rpm y más caudal (solo mide 1cm de ancho mas o menos), se oye bastante y no puedes regularlo manualmente ni apagarlo, lo hace la placa, en segundo lugar no puedes instalar un disco solo ni tiene el formato JOB o discos individuales, el cambio de raid a veces se vuelve tedioso no funciona de forma óptima, trae la fuente de alimentación integrada lo que puede ser una ventaja pero también aumenta el peso de la unidad, la hace calentarse más y en caso de avería la tienes que enviar a reparar mientras que si es externa te compras otra y arreglado. El precio me parece bastante elevado para una caja de 2 hdd, hay otras opciones en el mercado más asequibles y mejores en muchos aspectos. En el aspecto estético cumple es bonita y bien terminada. Si se quiere cambiar el ventilador por otro de tamaño estándar de 25 mm de ancho, pues se queda la mitad fuera de la carcasa y no se puede poner el protector, no entiendo la manía de los fabricantes a colocar ventiladores con medidas extrañas que aparte de meter más ruido mueven un caudal de aire inferior.

RAID externe efficace et de qualité, relativement silencieux
Ayant déjà eu un ancien modèle de RAID de cette marque, j'en avais été satisfait pendant des années avec pour seul défaut le ventilateur qui avait fini par défaillir que de j'avais été obligé de remplacer en bricolant un peu (un ventilateur 4x4cm n'est pas facile à trouver). Après avoir essayé d'autres marques, c'est finalement vers celui-ci que je retourne et qui me donne entière satisfaction après plusieurs mois. Mon ancien modèle avait le Firewire que celui-ci n'a plus, mais finalement ça ne m'a jamais réellement servi, alors tant pis... L'avantage de ce produit est sa transparence : lorsqu'un disque plante,le 2nd disque est configuré "normalement", c'est à dire qu'on le branche avec un adaptateur standard ou directement dans un boitier, contrairement aux boitiers qui imposent un format propriétaire : c'est très sécurisant (et par expérience, ayant déjà eu le cas, très pratique). A noter que le ventilateur du boitier s'entend plus ou moins en fonction de la température des disques : privilégier des HDD ayant une dissipation thermique raisonnable si vous voulez un ronronnement discret (mais à savoir : pas silencieux). Bref, un matériel un peu cher, mais que je recommande malgré tout.

Raidon GR3680-SB3 RAID Subsystem
Habe dieses Raid Gehäuse im Einsatz mit 2x WD Desktop Black 6TB HDD 7200rpm. Bin sehr zufrieden damit. Gegenüber dem Vorgängermodell RAIDON GR3630-SB3 offenbar eine Verbesserung. So ist es leiser, die Inbetriebnahme an meinem iMac lief absolut problemlos. Februar 2022: Habe derzeit mehrere dieser Gehäuse in Verwendung. Auch bestückt mit WD 8TB Gold 7200rpm sowie 12TB Gold 7200rpm. Sie laufen zuverlässig. Bei Anfragen gibt der Support zeitnah Antworten.
