Mens Safari Hiking Outdoor Waistcoats Jackets Gilet

I've now bought 3 and I'm looking at another. For less than £15, how can you go wrong? I find them really comfortable. They are not too thick, so great for those days when the Great British Summer is a little on the cool side - and can readily be worn under a jacket or coat when it's cooler still. The many pockets are really handy when travelling - a very practical addition to your cabin bag! I agree that the size is a little on the generous side, which is nice - so L fits me fine, whereas other clothing items might be XL. But free returns if you have to exchange. Yes, I've had an odd stray cotton to trim off here and there - must have taken me all of 10 seconds - and it's £14.99 or less! How can you go wrong?

Great colour (bright navy) and the material is nice and soft. The stitching is not brilliant but it's OK - bits to trim off, but at this price that's not bad. There was a popper missing under one of the pocket flaps, but it doesn't show, so I didn't return it as everything else was acceptable. The side pockets for some reason were stitched together in the middle (just where you want to put your hands in) but that was soon remedied with a pair of small sharp scissors. I am a size 14 lady but wanted something more useful than a typical 'pretty' female gilet. This does the job well - lots of lovely pockets. I would have bought a smaller size had one been available. I bought the smallest I could (medium men's) and guessed it would be a loose fit, which it is. The armholes are too big really but nobody would notice if worn over a loose blouse/shirt - and it's casual wear after all. Pleased with it and have worn it a lot already. Pity they don't regard it as a unisex item and produce female sizes.

A good value, well constructed fishing jacket. Yes, the side pockets need unpicking, I’m assuming that they are tacked during construction, but only a small job. I’m a reasonably slim 6’2” 42” chest and ordered an XL to accommodate a full fleece when necessary, so it’s a bit loose without, but not too much. It’s light, lined, feels like moleskin, (it’s polyester), and has enough pockets for my fishing bits and pieces. All this at a very attractive price, and free returns if necessary.... Perfect! Buy it!

I got this as I need lots of pockets but don't always want to wear a jacket when it's too warm outside. This Gilet is perfect for that purpose as it's lightweight and has lots of pockets, including an inside pocket big enough for a wallet. Be aware it's not a body warmer, the material is thin enough to wear comfortably during the summer, I wear it to keep cool rather than to keep warm. It looks pretty good in black and it's easy enough to wash. It's good for the price.

This appears to be well made. The fabric is soft and feels nice to the touch. There are two interior pockets, one for a wallet and the other for a phone. Unfortunately, not a smart phone, only the older slimmer type. The sizes run very small though. My husband has a 44in chest but usually opts for a 2XL to ensure it's still roomy when the pockets are full. He could only just do this one up without filling the pockets so it certainly wouldn't fit someone with a 50 inch chest. Having to send it back.

Very good bit of kit. Looks good and fits well. The collar and trimmings look expensive like suede. A total of 9 pockets well positioned to contain all your bits and pieces. Great quality zips made of hard plastic and 2 draw strings at the bottom to tighten the garment up if you need/want too. The poppers used are of good quality as well. A lightweight 'outdoor' gilet that looks the part. Recommended.

This is an excellent product and really good value given the low price. As I am a 38-40 inch chest I ordered a Medium, which fitted perfectly. I know other reviewers commented regarding the sizing, but this was a good fit in my case. It is well made, has good stitching, zippers etc, and is lightweight and functional. It has enough pockets for all those odds and ends when in the garden, taking photos etc.The material, as other reviewers have said, has a lovely soft "suede like" texture to it, and the lining is polyester, cool enough for summer wear, and warm enough for autumn time. Another reviewer has stated that it is easily washable, which is good because it is going on safari later this year!I will update my review after it has been exposed to the South African climate.....It arrived on time, and was securely packaged by Fashion Group.I highly recommend this product.

Excellent purchase, was very surprised at the quality for the price, I have been looking for this type of waistcoat for a long time but cost of others on the market put me off, great value for the money, just watch the sizing, I normally would want a 3XL but the2XL I brought was the right fit.

Lo smanicato è esattamente identico a quello che si vede in foto, anche il colore è proprio quello. La spedizione è stata rapidissima.Veste bene, è pieno di tasche e la fattura mi pare discreta. Le uniche due cose che mi sento di segnalare sono relative alle tasche più esterne ed alla taglia.Le tasche esterne, in basso, mi sono arrivate cucite da un piccolo filo di cotone (entrambe) che ho dovuto tagliare per accedere alle stesse. Non mi era mai capitato prima con altri indumenti.Per quanto riguarda la taglia, invece, l'ho trovata un pò piccola rispetto a quella ottimale ed anche l'indicazione della misura del girovita non è proprio fedele. Nel mio caso ho dovuto prendere una misura in più ed alla fine la scelta è stata corretta perchè la mia misura classica non mi sarebbe, sicuramente, andata bene.Per il resto nient'altro da segnalare.

Prodotto economico, in tutti gli aspetti. Alla prova da vuoto, i taschini sono troppo piccoli, le tasche laterali per le mani sono piccole, la cerniera sulla tasca inferiore destra non agevola il passaggio della mano, tutte le cerniere sono piuttosto economiche, il taschino interno destro non ha granchè significato. Non ha una etichetta chiara su produttore/provenienza e materiali. Al momento un lato positivo è la vestibilità, sembra corretta con la taglia acquistata. Vedremo come si comporterà dopo i lavaggi. Buono il colletto, che a cerniera tutta alzata rimane in forma grazie a lei.

Chiariamo: per il prezzo pagato non mi aspettavo chi lo sa cosa. Devo dire che l'oggetto non è male anche se alcuni particolari, dopo un uso pur attento di qualche giorno, hanno mostrato che comunque si tratta di un prodotto economico. Parlo dei bottoni a pressione che si sono staccati tutti ed inesorabilmente dalla loro sede dopo poche aperture e chiusure. Questo aspetto mi ha lasciato un tantino deluso perché magari con un euro in più si sarebbe potuto prestare più attenzione alla qualità di questi componenti fondamentali. Il Gilet é pratico e funzionale dispone di diverse tasche e scomparti, il tessuto e fatto di fibra sintetica (poliestere) da una sensazione simile al camoscio al tatto, ma risulta essere caldo e poco traspirante nelle giornate calde é preferibile usarlo con temperature più rigide, do 4 stelle per questo motivo voto: 7 1/2

Temevo sulla vestibilita', non sempre la taglia e' indicativa, 4xl per una taglia 58/60 va bene. Presenta dei fili di cotone superflui che ho dovuto rimuovere, ma non ci si puo' aspettare certamente la perfezione di un capo di alta moda, quindi piu' che soddisfacente.
