I love candles, especially scented ones, and I've always wanted to make my own but never got round to getting all the kit together to do. My wait is over as this scented candle kit includes everything needed to make candles, from the wicks, to the wax, to the colours to the scents all in one box. It even includes reusable candle tins too.I'm really pleased that the product description says the wax is beeswax. I understand there are several different types of candle waxes, and beeswax is the one I'd most like to use.This is an absolutely brilliant kit for beginners. The instructions are super clear and easy to follow. Just melt, add the desired colour and fragrance, mix and pour. Leave overnight to set and viola, your own candles.This would make a really lovely gift for a person who likes arts and crafts, or you could actually make the candles yourself and give the candles as gifts. I'm not doing either, I'm keeping all my finished candles for myself because as I said previously, I love scented candles.I was a bit dubious doing this for the first time, but the candles turned out great even after the first attempt. Believe me, if I can do it anyone can! I'm usually hopeless at arts and crafts and can't do anything with my hands usually. This kit made it super easy.The only downside for me personally is the choice of fragrances. Rose is included which is my absolute favourite, but there are also things such as tea tree oil, mint and lemongrass that I'm not so keen on for scenting my rooms with. However, this is purely my own personal preference and doesn't in any way detract from the kit itself which fantastic.The kit is so easy to use and the results are great.An easy five stars from me.

This is a great kit for anyone wanting to try candle makingIt comes with everything neededThe oils are placed in a peace of polyester to stop them from rolling about in the box, the dyes are packed separatelyThe oils smell really niceI use max melt more than candles these days it’s a shame there wasn’t any smaller mould to be able to make some the kit is still great and I can’t wait to use it

I like that this is a beeswax based kit as the natural candles are much better. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow with everything you need including the essential oils. This is the odd part as I wouldn't have chosen tea tree oil as a scent for a candle as it has a very antiseptic smell. Each to their own though, this is good stuff.

This is a great candle making kit- comes with everything you need and more. The scent selection is quite good and you can make lovely mixed scents but also super easy to add some of your own essential oils/scents. The wicks are really good and you can reuse the tins you get as soon as the candle runs out or simply use your own old candle jars. I had so much fun making candles with my little sister and I still have tons of stuff left to make more. Would be a really fun activity to do around Christmas and gift to your loved ones

Everything you need to begin candle making is included in this excellent kit. From wax and wicks to scented oils and candle tins with an easy to follow instruction leaflet. It's now up to you to formulate your own scent and create your perfect candle. Nicely presented, it would make an excellent gift set to start someone off on a new hobby.

This is a great starter set for making your own candles. If you've not made them before and want to see how you get on, then this set has all you need to get going. You get moulds, essential oils, beeswax, wicks, so much more and an instruction booklet which is very easy to follow. Looking forward to giving to my daughter at Christmas so she can try out candle making.

EVERYTHING you need to create a few candles and get started with a lovely, relatively simple, craft hobby.It includes moulds and tins as well as wicks with wick holders, dye, scent and wax. The issue for me is that there is very little wax. It barely filled 4 tins. SO ... if giving as a present, I would definitely order a nice big bag of wax to go with it as then the recipient can really have fun creating!

This includes a lot of parts. I'd say its on the more expensive end of things but it does what its supposed to. It's hard to argue with that. I'd have liked to see more tins and a wax melter but for the price i think its quite good.

Da amante delle candele profumate, in particolare quelle di soia che acquisto da molti anni, valutavo da tempo la possibilità di iniziare a farle da sola e questo kit fai-da-te, nonostante sia incompleto, è l'ideale per iniziare a fare un po' di pratica.La confezione contiene:• La caraffa in acciaio da 550 ml per sciogliere la cera e il relativo cucchiaino.• 9 barattolini in acciaio riutilizzabili.• 4 pacchetti di cera di soia da 122 g l'uno.• 8 pezzi di cera colorante suddivisi in 2 blu, 2 rossi, 2 gialli e 2 neri.• 6 boccette di olio profumato, le cui fragranze sono lavanda, rosa, citronella, menta, tea tree e arancia.• 3 stampi in silicone.• 100 stoppini in cotone, 112 adesivi e 4 porta stoppini in legno.All'interno della confezione mancano:• Una base burrosa per unire gli olii e i coloranti alla cera, come per esempio il burro di karité o di jojoba (o di cocco, ma essendo profumato resterebbe una punta di cocco nella profumazione finale).• Un termometro alimentare.La cera di soia, anche se a volte può fare le bizze, è completamente vegetale. Rispetto alla paraffina sono quindi molto più ecologiche, bruciano meglio e rilasciano più profumo in quanto hanno una fusione più bassa, cosa che ne aumenta anche la durata. Inoltre la combustione è migliore non solo per l'aria che respiriamo, priva di sostanze tossiche derivanti appunto dalla paraffina, ma anche per l'ambiente, perché producono meno CO2.Un altro punto a favore è sicuramente la biodegradabilità, che ha come bonus una più facile rimozione. Basta infatti un po' d'acqua calda per pulire i barattoli o le superfici in caso di eventuali incidenti.Nonostante il quantitativo generale dei prodotti non sia elevato, gli elementi presenti nel kit permettono una discreta sperimentazione, sia a livello di fragranze da combinare, sia in termini di colorazione, consentendo di capire quali abbinamenti piacciono e quali no per un eventuale restock.Nel complesso lo ritengo un buon kit per chi è agli inizi e voglia cimentarsi nella creazione di candele più ecologiche.
