Warburtons Original Seeded Batch Loaf (800g) is a decent everyday bread. The batch style makes it quite soft because the sides bake together, so it stays fresh for longer. The mix of linseed, millet, poppy, sunflower and sesame seeds gives it a nice flavour and a bit of crunch without being too strong. It toasts well, just go for a light golden brown. It’s vegetarian, and made in a bakery that also uses milk. At £1.70, it feels fair value, especially with Prime delivery making it easy to get.

This loaf is not what it used to be. I was looking forward to it but it’s strangely bland and not quite dry but drier than it used to be and rubbish for sandwiches now.
