I've been carrying a front-pocket around for quite a while and liked it's simplicity. I figured this was the next step in slimming down. I love credit card rewards and have a ton of credit cards, but never use cash. This clip holds most of my cards. It comfortable holds about 11 of my cards. It will hold more, but then it is uncomfortable to slide cards in or out of the stack. It also depends on whether or not the cards have raised numbering (boo). It will hold small items very securely as well.I can't say whether or not it is real carbon fiber. I have the standard black/grey design. It feels and sounds like neither plastic, nor metal, rather something between the two. I have faith that it is real carbon fiber. There is no peeling or anything. It has also held up well in my pocket over the past couple months. There are only a few scuffs which are not distracting from the overall product at all. It still looks like new to me.I highly recommend this, but maybe stick with the standard design. I know it is not necessarily designed for cards, but one improvement I can suggest is the size. Unfortunately, CC Chips tend to be rather sensitive and I put the cards in so that the chips are up, but the backside edge of the clip just barely touches (and rubs against) the credit card chip. I will definitely buy again if I need to for whatever reason.
