Maybe for an event or lunches, but long term.....keep looking.
I've been shopping around for flatware being in dire need of some, but I kept coming across cheap flatware. Plasticware costs were adding up, but I figured I could get more life out of these. I put my urgency aside, and bought these for the meantime. I just received these today so I haven't used or washed them yet; however, I have tested the basics... They're lightweight and do bend a lil easily which is expected when they're as inexpensive as they are. I wish there was a bit more weight in the handle so it would lay right in my hand. I love how long the tines are especially since the forks are more on the small size not 'dinner' size, and you don't really see that in small forks. Surprisingly, the tines aren't blunt cut which is common amongst cheaply made flatware; however, I haven't tested picking up food with them. The edges aren't sharp so you definitely don't need to worry about cutting yourself, but they are rough instead of smooth like a good set of flatware. Now, the big disappointment..... They won't last long before tarnishing, and possibly peel. They're not stamped stainless steel, but it does say, "China," so it goes without saying they're cheap (note: not just inexpensive, but cheap). You know how it is when you have metal that's coated then after time from the metal being bent back and forth the coating cracks and flakes? I foresee that with these forks. Just thinking about it makes me want to return them or donate them, but I'd end up paying just as much to return them so I'll see this through.

Lightweight salad fork.
These are the same size as the salad forks I purchased in a set from Walmart. I haven't been able to find a simple replacement fork. I was looking for a replacement 7" salad fork. These are exactly the right size and a very similar style. They weigh 23g each compared to 31g for Walmart's salad fork. So they are considerably lighter. Also not quite as nice a finished edge. For the price, these are a bargain, but I was hoping for higher quality even if that means paying more. These are definitely not your standard dinner fork size! My kids throw forks in the trash or down the food grinder regularly, so these are great for them, loose one no big deal. I still looking for a solid quality salad fork.In both pictures, this fork is the one on the left.

Great for the Price and Quantity
Needed some new forks as ours have been disappearing left and right. For the price, these stainless steel forks are great, especially when you figure in that they come with 36. They are a very simple design and are in between the size of our larger and smaller forks that came with our original wedding registry silverware 100 years ago.I only subtract 1 star because these don't quite match up to the higher quality, but ridiculously more expensive, silverware that we have been using for years. They are slightly lighter gauge and won't hold up to the same abuse. I don't see myself scooping ice cream with these forks (who uses forks to scoop ice cream?) but that's where you would be able to tell they were thinner.Overall these are a great purchase and I expect I'll buy more when the fork gnomes have stolen all 36. I can definitely recommend these forks.

Happy with the forks
I bought these because plastic forks break! These metal ones work well. I wrapped each fork in a napkin and used those tiny rubber bands to secure it. Then, all my guests have to do is pick one up and they don't have to struggle holding a napkin and fork (we're talking buffet here). I placed a container near the trash barrel and wrote 'dirty forks' on it, then, collected the forks and washed them for the next party.

Great value
I ordered these because we have parties at my work a few times a year. I wanted something inexpensive but sturdy that we could reuse, instead of throwing away plastic utensils. These are sturdier than I expected, though not quite as sturdy as the utensils I have at home. They should last for years. And the cost was very low. An excellent value.

perfect. I have even used them myself
My children are forever losing forks, never to be seen again.I purchased this item seeing how inexpensive they were,I really expected junk but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. They are not expensive silverware to use at a family gathering but as far as everyday use for home or to send which children's or husbands lunch, perfect.I have even used them myself. The quality is definitely 5 STARS considering the unbelievable price.I have even put them in the dishwasher several times and they still look like the day I received them, not a scratch and no tarnishing.Stop being skeptical of the price and order them, you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, and you are certainly getting a bargain which all us parents love.First picture of one's never used and second one's that have been through children using them and put in the dishwasher numerous times, can't tell the difference.

Decent quality forks
These forks are decent quality with good long-term reliability (this is the second set I've ordered over the last ten years, I needed additional since some had been lost). Good size for kids as the fork is not too heavy or too large for smaller mouths.

Does the job - Update 2 years later....Big thumbs up!
I have one of those families that is always missing forks. These worked great, they are not your grannies fine silverware but they work just like a fork should. I have been throwing them in the dishwasher and so far I have no complaints.**UPDATE** Purchased first order 04/2016- A family of 3, down to our last 4 of these forks. These have served us well, they have been used abused and run through the dishwasher hundreds of times now and still just as sturdy and shiny as the day we got them. Time to order these again!
