Great book for anyone looking at canoeing or kayaking the Chattahoochee. The detail about what to look for, and where rapids and shoals are we're important when planning our multi day trip. We put it into a 1 gallon zip-lock bag and through it in the hatch when we go.

Great book. Very informative and useful. Full of practical tips.

Great read so far. Living in Roswell I am most familiar with the areas from Island Ford to Johnsons Ferry. I know the routes, I know the sandbars and the shallows. What I never knew was the history of the trip. I'm planning to do some longer trips with my son and this book is great for picking day or weekend trips.
