This is my second set of pads.I bought the first one for my son's friend ,and after looking at their quality I decided to buy one for him too.He really likes them so far,but it is a bit too early to judge.Only time will tell.They do run a bit too big (even over heavier clothes) as my son is pretty small for a 6 1/2 yo. Will update in case something changes.

I bought the youth/teen size, but the bag it came in says "large" and, boy howdy, are they ever. I'm not a small woman at 5'7" and 155lbs, but nothing in this set fits me by even the most generous definition. The wrist guards are too large for the gentleman I go rollerskating with! The elbow and knee pad velcro practically wraps all the way around and barely latches when I get it snug. Maybe I can modify everything, but I don't know if it's worth the effort. At this price, I probably won't even bother sending it back; I'll just donate it and find something else that fits. Other than the sizing issue, everything seems fairly well made and durable.

Put these through their first real test by taking my 5 year old daughter on the concrete to learn how to roller skate. She took numerous falls without scraping anything but her thumb! Yay!The fit was about spot-on for my a bit larger than average girl. (I also got a pair for my smaller than average 2 year old and while they did slide around a bit, I was able to adjust enough to keep her reasonably protected with these pads)The reason for the loss of one star is because during one of my 5 year old falls a plastic connector on the knee pad jabbed into her leg causing a painful deep bruise - however turning the pad upsidedown so the connector was on the inside of her leg instead remedied this problem. Not a huge deal. I figured there'd be some injuries, I just didn't think they'd come from the pads used to protect her.Over all - they protected both my girls from the sidewalk, absorbed some good falls, fit well, and held up against my 2 year old dragging them along the concrete when she decided to crawl because skating got too hard. I would recommend these for other youngsters.

Perfect for my 11 yr old. He is 56 inches tall and weighs 75 lbs. Based on numerous reviews saying they ran small I bought the youth/teen size and if anything they are on the big side. He can easily put them on and off himself. Seem durable so far! One time he skated without knee pads and fell and got a big hole in his pants--so now this gear is mandatory!

The pads offer outstanding protection for my 7 year old daughter. Unfortunately, the top reviewer for this product displays a photo of a young boy wearing the wrist guards upside down, incorrectly applied to the hands in an unsafe manner that will not protect the wrists. This product fits very well for a standard size 7 old girl. Very affordable as well.

I'm a noob to mountain biking. Wore these on 3 rides so far to give me a bit more confidence. Crashed twice with these on, both going down hill. Landing on my knees and elbows with these on felt like landing on pillows! Both times I got up laughing because I felt NO pain at all.The pads are plush, and the plastic guards look like they take a lot more beating.My only complaint is that the knee pads get sweaty pretty easily (maybe that happens with most pads), and they tend to slide down a tad when I'm cycling, causing me to have to pull them back up occasionally.They DO run on the smaller end. I'm 5'8" 180 lbs adult male and although I'm on the shorter end, the girth of my legs and arms are pretty average I'd say. They fit me perfectly without the straps fastened. The elbow straps fasten all the way without feeling restrictive. The knee straps fasten only halfway before cutting off circulation. So I don't these would fit on a larger adult.I'd recommend these for anyone as long as they fit. They've saved my knees and elbows twice so far, allowing me an overall better experience in my biking.

I got these for my granddaughters to use with the kick scooters at Grandma's house. They are very well made. These fit the 39 lb., 42" tall six year-old just right at the tightest placement. The elbow guards were a little loose yet for the 35 lb. 36" tall four year-old. The youngest will be four years old in a month, he wrist guards, and the elbow guards are a little too large for her 29 lb. 32" frame. The knee pads stay in place well. Obviously, since these are all at he tightest placement, they will fit much larger children. I bought the youth sizes for the 11 and 9 year olds. These were just a very little too snug for the nine year old, but he is very thin also.

I purchased the adult size equipment, used them for a week now, about 3 hours in total (and plenty of falls). I am petite, so I didn't know how it would fit when I purchased them. The knee and elbow pads are the same shape, just different sizes. The knee pads were way too big, so I'm using the elbow pads for knee pads. The gloves are too big to actually match the size of my hand, but they still protect my palms (have to pull the straps really tight and then twist them around a few times so the velcro matches up).For their purpose, these do perfectly fine. Mine are scoured and scratched from all the falls I've taken learning how to roller skate, but they've protected my knees and hands. Just be aware of your body shape, if you're petite, the adult size might not be worth it.

Pretty good but I find the elbow and knee protectors to be a bit tight (even though I am a petite woman) so may be better for children. It's not too bad though, I will have to adjust where the velcro sits so I can secure it better. Bought for use with rollerblades. Hope not to be testing the strength of these any time soon! They are padded and comfortable inside and I have confidence that if I fall, I will be well protected by these.

The item came in good shape and seems to be of good quality, lightweight and pleasant yet prob robust.However, 1) it is not suitable for cycling, far too stiff, esp the knees obviously. the knee protectors are also virtually the same size as the elbow protectors; 2) it is quite tight for an adult male (6ft, ~85kg), the velcro straps are such that they'd be quite tight to close them.Probably quite good for skating for a smaller person, but definetely not useful for cycling and not for me. sent back...

Really good fit and look stylish too.Peace of find when scooting or roller skating.These have definitely prevented a few bruises!

Good value set of protectors. No falls as yet but the knee and elbow protectors look robust and should save a knock. No complaints from the wife about comfort so must be good.

Bought so my 10 year old son could use them for riding an electric scooter. Fits very well. Hasn't had to put them to the test yet, thankfully.
