I needed a cover for my newly installed Harbor Freight Badland 12000lb winch. I looked at several before deciding on this one. It fits very tightly and looks great. Even with the solenoid box mounted directly on top of the winch, there's still room to spare.The cover has only been on for a day, so I can't comment on its durability; however, should any problems arise, I will definitely update my review.It's relatively minor, but I do wish the logo was up higher and centered. It would look much better if it wasn't tucked away in the corner where it can't be seen. I'd prefer there not be any logo if you can't even see it.Aside from that, the claim that the free gloves are an almost $20 value is bothersome. The gloves are more or less the same as the ones you see for $2.50 at Harbor Freight. It's nice that they included a free pair of gloves, but dishonest advertising isn't okay. Who would believe that you get a ~$20 pair of gloves, for FREE, with an item that costs almost the same amount? Just change it to "free gloves included" and leave it at that.UPDATE 9/3/19: I received an unsolicited email from the seller asking me to leave a product review. I don't appreciate being nagged about leaving reviews; especially not when I have already left one. I have removed an additional two stars for this.UPDATE 11/19/19: The color has faded dramatically and now has a brownish hue. The material is still in good shape, but the color is fading fast. I plan to try using Rit dye to bring the color back. I will report back with my results.FINAL UPDATE 5/7/2020: I decided the Rit dye idea was too much trouble. I've attached a picture that shows how much the cover faded in less than a year. The darker part is where it wasn't exposed to as much sunlight. I don't think this cover is really worth the money.

I just received my neoprene winch cover and installed it on a 10,000 lbs Champion winch. Fit is roomy so it goes on pretty easily but I believe it will be snug enough to stay on. I was concerned since my winch was at the upper end of the range. The leather gloves that were thrown into the deal seem pretty durable.

The cover had a really strong unpleasant odor to it that took a long time to dissipate. The cover seem to be oversized for my winch which was a Badland 12,000 lb rated winch. The width of it seem to be fairly good but it was much too tall and does not fit the winch securely. I had to fold the bottom section over on itself in order to get it to fit on more securely and to make it look less like a toaster cover. Gloves were included with it however the stitching on the finger on one of the gloves was such that it was almost impossible to bend my finger without the stitching digging painfully into the finger joint.

I only got this to prevent my synthetic rope from getting UV damage on my Smittybilt 10K winch, and I wasn't expecting a whole lot. But this cover fits very well and doesn't move around. I tow my Jeep and so I kept a close watch on my rear camera as I expected the cover to lift off. No worries at all anymore and I couldn't be happier. IDK how long it will last, but either way it is much less expensive than to replace the synthetic rope, and way less expensive than a off road tow bill if that sun damaged rope were to break when you needed it most.

I see the picture now.. with the gloves, but I was looking for a winch cover and saw the winch cover picture, not noticing the gloves so the gloves were completely unexpected and welcome. I also feel like this thing shipped before I even thought about ordering it. It arrived faster than anything possibly should possibly arrive. It's almost like the seller is in my mind. For real though, great product, unexpected gloves, would highly recommend!

I have a 12,000 lb Badland winch. This cover doesn’t fit very snug it’s very loose up top. Despite it being loose I don’t have any issues with it wanting to come off riding down the highway. It does it’s job of keeping the rain off of my winch. The initial color was great but about three months after having it on it is now a grayish purple color it faded fast! Will have to buy a different brand.

Just received this winch cover. I installed on a smittybilt XRC9500 winch. It installed easy and fits snug. The included glove are cheap leather but should protect your hands when pulling cable. I'm not worried if the color fades but I'm hoping it last a couple years. I live in the southwest desert and the sun can destroy things quickly here. I'll try and update my review in a year

Love this cover!!! Doesn’t have any strings or rope to tie the cover on the winch, which to me is wondering. Stays on while driving at highway speeds or faster. Stays on my smittybuilt 9500 winch very well. Will definitely buy again whenever I need a new one. Thanks a bunch!!!

At first I thought it was a decent cover. It did what it was suppose to. But it didn't stay black for long. After a month or 2 it turned grey. Which didn't bother me that much. It doesnt look the best but it still kept my winch dry. Now after a year and a half I tried to adjust it on my winch and it is ripping very easy just from me pulling a bit. It's been in there every day for 2 summers and a winter. For the price I wish it was alittle better. It still does what its supose to but you won't get a long time out of it. You can make the decision if it's worth it or not

I have had this cover for over two years. It fits a little awkwardly but does the job protecting the winch from bugs, road spray, etc. It has faded a little (as has the Jack cover I have from the same company) but has been well worth it.

Don’t bother. It collects condensation. You only need to cover your synthetic winch line, not the entire winch. It just collects too much moisture and then in winter - freezes and you can’t use your winch!!!
