Comparable to military dry sacks
Excellent value for the money. Item is heavyweight, durable. The 9 liter size is perfect for backpacking. Purchased this for overnight/weekend camping. A single 9L sack held: one pair of pants, one shirt, one undershirt, one pair of underwear, and two pairs of socks with room to spare. It's likely you could (almost) double the contents. Liked the air release valve- you don't wind-up with a 'balloon' after you 'load and fold.' Ordered on a Wednesday, arrived by Friday. Will likely purchase more in the future.

Nice for cycling commute to work
Water proof, nicely made, soft, not bulky, easy to compress, and fast delivery. Also, it is a perfect size for my cycling commute to work. It is so good, I bought another one! I got them both from USA MILITARY STORE.

Sturdy, functional
Smaller than I originally thought, but still VERY well designed. I purchased these quite some time ago, and I still use one on almost every trip as my food bag. Sturdy, functional...worth the price I paid!

Fantastic!
I perfer this usmc gear over all the DOD mil spec gear. The only one that I found that will release the air after closing!

cool bag
Very cool bag. I'm using it in my day bag, compresses nicely with my extra layers in it. came in original packaging for $26.97. I think 9L is about right in a day bag. compresses my stuff, keeps it dry and leaves me room for my lunch and plenty of water.

Very durable kit bag
I have been using dry bags to store water sensitive items in my kit and always end up tear or puncturing them. This bag is much tougher and the air vent is really good at letting me reduce the cubes.I used it on a recent trip to Dominican Republic when I went scuba diving. The hotel had a history of theft so I brought this to hold my passport, camera and other valuable items when I went on or under the water. I took it down to 60' for 30 minutes and not a drop got in.Yeah their pricey but you only have to buy them once.Enjoy!

Good, but not perfect
I bought this to keep a jacket or lightweight sleeping bag dry. I have tested it in the sink several times and found that while it will stay dry in very heavy rain and very short periods of submersion, it will let water in if submerged for more than 10 seconds. For most people this would not be a problem, but I was hoping for slightly better performance. The valve also has a slow leak, so the bag will eventually puff back up to its original size. It seems like the valve is not there to allow the bag to be compressed, but to adapt to pressure changes that can occur from changing altitude. The construction does seem to be decent, but I would be careful with the handle on the bottom of the bag. It looks like it could tear if pulled with enough force. Lastly, the interior has a slightly rubbery feel to it which can prevent clothing items from easily sliding in and out of the dry bag.Despite some drawbacks, I like the bag and will probably order more. It is great for hiking and camping, although it wouldn’t be my first choice for a rafting or kayaking dry bag.
