We waited a while to review this item to give the best information.We absolutely LOVE this machine. NO it’s not perfect, but nothing is.It’s a lot bigger than we expected, even though the sizes are correct, it just feels like a massive item. Because of the round shape it took us a while to find a good place, but it’s not a bothersome view.Our kitten got used to it very quickly (on the kitten mode!) and since she’s still small we do the manual clean instead of automatic (kitten mode simply turns off the auto clean). We tested the sensors when cleaning and they do react quickly, even though our cat is “too small”, so we feel it’s very trustworthy.Filling, cleaning and maintaining is very easy. Yes it is a bit of work when you take the whole thing apart and clean it all, and yes it gets dirty after a while. But it is nothing compared to a normal cat litter box. It’s super convenient and easy to use, the app is easy and useful, plus the smell is a massive improvement.Sometimes it doesn’t clean it all out and some clutter sticks on the side, but usually it sorts itself in the next turn.We did learn that it works best with the litter & odor eliminator from the same brand and changed monthly (maybe 5-6 weeks depending on use) to keep the nice smell. (Our kitten had to get used to the litter slowly, it smells really nice and she wasn’t sure whether to eat it or use it as her toilet). The bin bags could be changed to another brand, we prefer the originals too, but others might be cheaper.We do not use the parfum addition, it’s unnecessary.We find it worth the money for sure! Even though it is a bit expensive, it’s definitely worth the convenience and improvement on smell in the house. We’re very happy with it and would definitely recommend it!

One month in now on this item.I was sceptical especially at this price point but with three cats and only room for one tray my nostrils had had enough so decided to buy this.Build quality - very sturdy and looks like a spaceshipInstructions - Came with great instructions - app has videos - surprisingly straightforward for something that is connected to the internet and looks like a Star Wars droid.Use - we've had to try different clumping cat litters. Some are too clumpy and clog the chute that the waste goes down.The app is easy to use and share with other members of the household.Smell - What smell? This is the best bit for me. My landing now smells like the rest of my house (of Dog).Noise - Never notice the noiseCat acceptance - They eyed it with suspicion at first but cats are curious and they took to it in no time. It even has per cat profiles by weight so will tell you which cat has done its business and how long they took.Cleaning - Couldn't be easier to remove the waste and replace the bag. Really is much simpler than you'r believe.Really is a marvellous thing. It's a lot for a cat litter tray but it really has changed things in this house. If they were cheaper I'd be gifting them to people. It may not seem like good value but the alternative is horrid smells and regularly dealing with messy traditional trays. We've found we use less cat litter as well.

The included litter mat is very effective at catching litter tracking (I use BioKats Diamond cat litter), helping to keep my floors clean. The smart spray deodoriser also makes a noticeable difference in keeping the litter box smelling fresh.The cleaning process, while initially seeming daunting due to the size of the litter box, turned out to be surprisingly quick and easy. I do a deep clean once a month, and that’s enough to keep the box fresh and hygienic for my kitties.I did run into an issue with Amazon, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to offer much help. However, PETKIT’s customer service was outstanding! They assigned me an appointee who handled my issue seamlessly and efficiently. Their excellent service has only reinforced my confidence in the brand.Overall, I highly recommend the PETKIT Pura Max 2. It keeps my cats happy, my flat odour-free, and my life so much easier. If you’re considering an automatic litter box, this is absolutely worth the investment!

Lifechanging purchasse. Never have to scoop again. Came pre assembled and was very easy to show our cat how to use. Very sturdy. The weight sensor is a bit off though and registers her at 1.6kg when she is 4.6kg, however this isnt a big issue as it is very safe and can detect when she comes in and whens too clean, so no need to worry about safety. Does not leak, waste bin cleaned out every 1.5 weeks. Was a little pricey but does work well. The app is very good too.
