Was looking for a longer brace with metal supports. If you are looking for a simple yet supportive brace, this is nice. I needed something much more Rigid. 5 stars for a good supporting brace. Wound not recommend for injury use. Too Flexible.

First of all, let's talk about the PROS.PROS: I've used this back brace for months and frankly, it's been the most effective back brace I've bought out of the four different brands that I've tried. Very tight fit with lots and LOTS of squeeze which is great. Way more than any other brand.CONS: The medium size is supposed to be for 33-36" waists but I'm a 34" and i can barely get it to wrap over on itself so it should be sized for 30-34" waists. I workout with it and sweat a lot so I've put it through a dozen washes but, as u can see in the photos, it doesn't survive the washing and drying cycles very well so I've started air drying it. It's fraying like crazy and the plastic support rod pockets have torn open and they sometimes fall out if I'm not paying attention when I put it on.OVERALL: I'd still recommend this product because it's so inexpensive that it's worth it. If u want it to last, hand wash it!

As another reviewed noted, there wasn't anything really wrong with this item, it's just not right for me. I have a general hourglass shape but a short torso, so this product sat either too high and dug into my back, or too low and dug into my hips. I just couldn't get it to sit comfortably.I did like how it fastened, with the band to put it on and the elastic straps to adjust tightness. It didn't feel uncomfortably tight anywhere, and range of movement was largely unaffected. The build quality and stitching was good, it doesn't feel or look slapped together haphazardly.

Sturdy...great for walking about...
