The San Francisco Music Box Company Rotating Train and Mountain Village Snow Globe

I bought one of these for me and 2 more for my siblings. My mom loved Christmas, Silver Bells was her favorite Christmas song and she loved snow globes. It was a perfect gift for my siblings (and me!) after my mom passed. A bit expensive but it’s a beautiful, heavy and high quality snow globe and very meaningful for all of us. I’m keeping mine out all year. It truly reminds me of my mom every time I look at it. I love it.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this gift for my wife at Christmas. The snow globe features a picturesque mountain village scene, complete with tiny houses, snowy landscapes, and a rotating train encircling the village. It is very eye catching. The intricate details and smooth rotation of the train further attest to the excellent craftsmanship. The snow globe plays a melodious tune that enhances the overall experience and adds to the ambiance. My wife loves it. She put it on the bed side table to look at it every night.

I liked it very much. Perfect size the musical part of its great, very intricate and like the moving motion of the train. It's beautiful. Really enjoy having it

I love this globe, DESPITE the "incorrect" tune, because the melody sounds MUCH better than Silver Bells would have and the music holds a certain comfort that the other would not have.The train, key, snow, and music all work as they should. The piece is genuinely beautiful and I can't find anything negative to say about it.I originally bought it for my wife, but I'm going to play with it on Christmas morning before she does!

I love the San Francisco box company. It's the only place I will buy music boxes and snowglobes from. My only complaint is that I wish the base was heavier. Other than that its perfect.. The train moves through the tunnel seamlessly.

Sent this snowglobe as a gift to my sister in law. She said it was nice and the train was cute but the sound wasn't very good. It did not sound like Silver Bells. A bit disappointed in this. I thought this brand was quality, but I was wrong. I had to have them send a replacement on this order because the first was damaged in shipping. Bummed and will not order again. Seller offered refund, but did not process the refund for this item. Quite disappointed. Won't purchase from seller again.

There was very little ‘snow’ in this snow globe and the music was so jerky the tune was almost unrecognizable. Otherwise it was cute and the train going through the tunnel was cute.
