Design Toscano EU15816 Venus de Milo Bust Statue, 12 Inch, Polyresin, Antique Stone

This is a good addition to my living room. I recommend it. It's not big, but perfect for library type shelving.

I wasn’t sure about the quality for such a low price. She is flawless.

I expected a styrofoam product because of some peoples reviews. It is beautiful. Anything this size would normally cost at least $60-$100. So worth my money. I LOVE it.

With proper lighting and by tilting and turning a number of different poses can be achieved. Just what I was looking for

Once I opened the box, I can not be more disappointed. It looks like a cheap manufactured product. And yes, its tipped to one side. You need to take all three soft pads on the bottom and move them to one side to let it stand straight. However, after I put it in the corner and let shadow and light work on it, it can not be more beautiful. Plus the cost is really low compare to an authentic marble bust. Taking all in consideration, I think four star is fair.

At first I was very disappointed in this when I unwrapped it, but after a few weeks, I like it a lot - hence 4 stars.Pros:-Very pretty-Detailed and classy-lookingCons:-Would not stand when I took it out of the package; kept tipping over as the bottom is a bit uneven. Had to futz with pads on the base to make it stand up. It is still not steady.-Quite light in weight; as soon as it is touched, you can tell it is not very high quality.-Paint job on mine was not great; the pedestal is the same material, just painted, and the line is not straight on mine.-Seems a bit smaller in person; not terribly impressive in terms of size. Remember the 12 inches is inclusive of the pedestal, so the actual bust is about 9 inches.My personal idea of a good price point for this would be $30. I paid more (almost $50) and I expected a bit more for my money, but overall I really like the look of it and so I am giving it 4 stars.UPDATE June 2014 (5 months later): Reduced one star. Despite fussing with the footpads, the statue remained unsteady. It was on a low end table and fell off of the table and I was surprised it broke from falling such a short distance. It fell onto a hardwood floor covered with a thin rug. I actually glued it back together and it is on a table over carpeting now. Still 3 stars for looks; reduced star because quality was even worse than originally thought.

This beautiful bust has made my day. It is so beautifully crafted and of good quality and design. It is a lot bigger than I was expecting but I am very pleased and feel it is wonderful value for money! The only downfall being that the carrier damaged the item and there is now a hairline crack on the back of the bust. Maybe I could suggest Amazon are more careful with their deliveries?

IT is OK. Nothing special. But then again it wasn't very expensive
