Works really well
We have a bio sauna (steam and sauna combined). This is excellent for us as we can measure both heat and moisture.Comes pre configured. Works well and excellent accuracy.

Not suitable for Sauna
Even if this thermometer says it is made to be used in the sauna, it is NOT. As you can see in the attached picture, the plastic on the back melted. Don't waste time and money with this product!

Useful piece of kit
I’ve a wood fired Sauna and this takes the guesswork out , the hygrometer dial goes from the ambient into the green zone so you know you’re ready.

Does it really give an accurate reading?
I’m cooking in my sauna and as the temperature rises it get to 50C and just won’t go higher yet the interior temperature sure feels hotter and hotter. Is it broken or what? It never gets a reading near the sauna temp required so not sure if it’s accurate? For me it’s a question mark. Sure looks good and being made in Germany was a real influencer in my purchase decision. I would like to calibrate it to confirm it’s working before my sauna turns into an oven.
