Very happy with the purchase
went back and forth between this and the 7" version but decided for the smaller one as it doesn't obstruct my dash. Super clear screen even on the brightest days, easy to set up and having the wunderwheel controlling the screen makes for a safer ride.Worth the money spent and I would strongly recommend.

Great idea, not great delivery. Sadly returned.
Bought ahead of a trip through France as I had recently bought the bike and found the BMW Nav 6 fiddly to input destinations. After 1,400 miles with this unit - I don’t think it really serves a purpose, having your phone mounted with a quad lock is better and easier.I found lots of annoying issues - no matter how you pair your cardo, there isn’t the perfect answer. If you don’t pair it to the unit - you don’t get nav directions through your headset, if you do connect it to the cardo, the volume control is a pain. Also, the font and screen size on this model is just too small. Unlike the BMW unit, this is just CarPlay - it hasn’t been designed for a small screen on a bike, it’s been designed for a huge screen in a car so the writing and general text and detail on the map is very hard to see. Also - if you turn the bike off, even on the kill switch at a toll for example the CarPlay unit does and takes a minute or so to connect back up - because of this I took the wrong turn on a French motorway which cost me 30 mins of additional riding. All in all - if you don’t have the BMW Nav, this would probably be worthwhile. If you do have the BMW nav - get familiar with that or just use your phone on a mount. This isn’t worth the £250

Frustrating,not worth it.
The device technically does the job, BUT there are several major drawbacks.Software: Out of date right out of the box. Half of features don't work.Customer service provided a “solution,” but it was overly complicated and unrealistic for the average user. Support overall has been poor.Performance: Freezes from time to time and sometimes doesn’t switch off automatically with the engine, which could drain the bike’s battery.Touchscreen: Works fine with bare hands, but nearly impossible to use with gloves.Backlight: Far too bright for nighttime use, and there’s no way to dim it to be non intrusive and disturbing.Display settings: Units can’t be changed (e.g., km/h to mph, Fahrenheit to Celsius, bar to PSI), which makes it very inconvenient.Overall, for the price, it’s just not worth it. Unfortunately, I held on to it too long to return, but if I could, I would.
