Solid product. However, it requires a rough opening of 14 7/8" x 14 7/8". I had to hack out the studs to make it fit.

1/4 inch off from fitting in standard stud spacing so created a lot of extra work and mess to cut back the stud and drywall to fit. Not a hard job with the tools just annoying and dirty. Would be fine for new construction as you could frame accordingly. I knew this going in only because I read reviews and knew I could make it work if they were accurate. Otherwise quality was good and looks well.

I had to tear the wall out to fix a motor in my tub and figured i didn't want to do that again. this worked perfect and went right in easily

Please note that while this claims to be a 14 x 14" access panel, it will not fit between normal wall stud spacing with studs on 16" centers. I've installed many 14" access panels over the years and they all fit with standard wall stud spacing. I was excited to find this 14" panel for less money, but in my excitement, I failed to read the description where it says 15+" rough opening is required. I wish I would have taken a screen shot of the description when I purchased 2 of these doors because I'm having a tough time believing that I would have missed it if it was displayed as it is now.I'm now slightly bummed that it's going to cost me 20% of the purchase price for return shipping... AND I'll have to buy (and wait for) 2 more replacement panels before I can finish my drywall project.

While the product title says 14x14, it REQUIRES a 15"x15" hole to install, which will not work with "standard" stud spacing.You'll end up returning it, or chiseling out half your stud to make it fit.

I would like to see a diagram with dimension. I found the frame that you attach to the studs was larger than I expected.

Works good. Exactly what I was looking for.However, "14x14" suggests that's the size of the recessed frame that gets screwed in and not just the size of the door. At a minimum you can mount this if your opening is 14.75"x14.75".
