For the money, these speakers are great! They have a very nice appearance to them and their weight shows quality - Out of the box the speakers are a breeze to set up - I quickly paired them on BT and had them up and running with great connectivity - You can also use the provided RCA wiring so you desire - USB connection is also available - The remote control provided is great and works super! Sound wise - for less than a hundred bucks these do a very nice job - I did find that I needed to fiddle around with the bass/treble adjustments to get the sound I wanted - Output wise these speakers give a great sound especially for the money! I have to add that customer service from these folks is likely the best that I have ever dealt with - I would highly recommend these speakers and company!

I wanted a small set of speakers, that would fit into my media cabinet and sound great, without breaking the bank. I chose the Mevosto bookself speakers, due to the positive reviews that I read. I'm happy to continue the positive reviews on these speakers, after having them about a month. These speakers sound great for their size. They have adjustable bass/treble on the side of the left speaker, allowing you to set the bass to your liking. I listen to several genres of music ranging from some metal, to pop/rock, blues rock and classical. These speakers handle all genres well. The bass adjustment gives me just what I need, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to sound. They are certainly not audiophile quality, but they satisfied my hard to satisfy sound brain. They can connect several ways. RCA cable, AUX and Bluetooth are all options. They pair very easy with Bluetooth. I can take my phone roughly 40 feet away, and they stay connected. These speakers were under 100 dollars when I ordered them. That made me question their quality. But not now. I love them, and they look great in my media cabinet. I recommend the Mevosto speakers without hesitation.

I would give these Active Bookshelf Speakers (36W RMS, Bluetooth 5.4, 5-inch woofer) eight stars if Amazon would stop being a coward and allow it. The sound quality is ridiculous for the size and price—clean highs, punchy mids, and bass that actually shows up instead of sending apologies. These don’t sound like “good for bookshelf speakers.” They sound like someone messed up the pricing. They’re also beautifully constructed. Solid, weighty, and finished like they belong in a much more expensive audio setup. No cheap plasticky nonsense, no “budget electronics” vibes. You set them down and immediately think, Oh… these are serious. Bluetooth pairing is fast and stable, and once music starts playing, it’s game over. I’ve caught myself sitting there listening to songs I didn’t even mean to play—just because they sound that good. And let me be crystal clear: this is my top electronics purchase from Amazon in 2025, and I say that as a certified Amazon addict. These speakers look and sound like they should cost way more, and I am genuinely in love with them. If you’re even considering them, stop overthinking it. Buy them. Your ears will send thank-you notes.

Will the love fest last? I may have to come back here at some point to update my review. Got them only yesterday. A couple years back I purchased the Klipsch ProMedia. Amazing sound with the 8" subwoofer. But quite a headache to use them. The only ways I had to connect them was Bluetooth and RCA. Well the computer does not have an RCA output, so it had to be Bluetooth. During playback, in a long silent, the speakers turned off and would come back on when sound resumed. But there was a delay when you lost a few seconds. It had this auto-off-on thing. So I had to download an update to fix that and load it to the system via the USB port. Yes, they had a USB port at the back, but it could be used only for loading updates. What were they thinking??? So they were not really computer speakers, but for a sound system. So they were a mess to use and I simply stopped using but rarely. A week ago I started to watch "John Wick Chapter 4". Great sound. Took a pause and turned it off. When I came back, the Bluetooth light was always on. No way to turn it off. The only way to change the input mode was if that light was not on. I even opened the back of the sub wanting to disconnect the Bluetooth, but it is integral part of the motherboard and no way to disconnect it. What a waste! Also the control knobs were at the back of the woofer. Yeah, there is a remote, but it did not do everything anymore as the whole thing was like frozen. What were they thinking! Almost $400 wasted. Enough complaining and back to the review of the Mevosto speakers. Got them yesterday and they are to be used with my PC in my case. I plugged them in an outlet and my computer, using Bluetooth, recognized them right away. Refreshing! If you don't want to use Bluetooth (like me, more on that later), you can use one of the 5 ways to connect them. Sound quality, don't expect the world, but real clear, crisp and some bass with the 5". Pleasant to listen to. So I first used the Bluetooth connection which worked well, but I noticed a very small delay with the sound and the movement of the lips of people on the screen. Not much, but enough to annoy me. so I decided to use the USB cable, something I couldn't do with the more expensive Klipsch. It is perfect. And the controls are easy to reach being on the right side of a speaker (If you are right handed). And the remote is very useful. From the remote, if you turn them on or off or change the input, a voice confirms your choice. I actually use only the remote. I selected PC Mode since I am connected with the USB cable and when I turn them on, the PC sees them right away. The remote will control the volume of the PC. When I turn them off, the PC returns to using the internal speakers automatically. So far, it is paradise. For now, since all I wanted was a better sound than the internal speakers of the PC, this does the trick.

These speakers have great sound quality. Bluetooth connectivity functions well no issues. Love the size and look, it is exactly what I was looking for. I recommend these speakers.

The five stars are based on the performance, otherwise, for the price I would give it four or 4.5 Stars because they're a little pricey for me. However, the volume, the clarity, the quality of the sound, the base, is very impressive especially for the size. I have these in my bedroom at the head of the bed about 2 ft away from the bed on each side, in a small approximately 12x12 bedroom. The sound is tremendous, it makes you feel like you're at a live concert, but when I walked outside with doors and windows closed it's really not so loud it goes through the walls and annoys the neighbors in the house next door. In an apartment it probably would. Another nice thing is that the engineers were smart enough to make it so that you cannot over boost the volume. Even at full volume, I didn't notice the sound getting distorted or the speakers vibrating. So they have set the limit so that they still sound good at full volume. The Bluetooth is pretty strong as well, I can be about 30 or 40 ft and three walls away and it never disconnected or got spotty

Very happy with these speakers. After a few years of trying differing bluetooth speaker pairs, I can finally hear bass tones well in my music. As other reviewers have mentioned, they won't blow away truly large speakers, but for a small great room they sound great. I love that they are powered 120v; no more having to recharge. I highly recommend these if you are looking for good sound in a small package and small price.
