Nice DIY Part
I used these with some 3D-printed stereoscopes, and they work wonderfully! They have a high quality of construction, consistent size (important for fitting into oculars), and a nice finish.Great part for your DIY project!

Pretty basic lens, made a simple optic out of it
We have this $22K Hanamatsu microscope camera at work, the kind you put on a $400K microscope (that we don't have). We're writing software for it, but so far only imaging the back of the lens cap. With this double convex lens I designed and printed a simple C mount single-lens optic for the camera so that the developer can image something slightly more interesting, like the side of a tissue box (get the pun?).The lens worked as expected and the price was right

Bad flaw center
There is a bad flaw directly center of the glass. Maybe a defect, but definitely not good quality.

Do not suggest for projects. The edge thickness changes. But the product works good
I ordered some almost exactly one year ago that's ~5mm thick at the edge. I finally got the design finished and ordered more for demo models to send out.... and the thickness of the lenses changed and it doesn't fit in the design anymore.Besides that it works pretty well.

These fit and work as expected, but they are a bit more pricey than other places.
