Great rotary blade and ruler
This set is fantastic. The ruler is the perfect size and the rotary blade is insanely sharp. I have spent more money on other rotary cutters and they are not nearly as sharp. This one cuts like butter! The mat is decent, although because it folds there is a bit of a bump that gets in the way a bit when moving the ruler, but that will settle as the mat lies open.Shipping was ok. It came in a thin cardboard and the product package itself had come open inside the package box. Several items were lying at the bottom of the shipping box but it was all there and nothing was broken.

I'd give it five stars, but...
I really like this set except for one little thing that I am not sure isn't the case with all cutting mats...but it smells a little like a plastic skunk.

Purchased for a gift
My daughter is interested in quilting so I purchased this set to give to her as a gift.
