I’ve owned a lot of knives, I’ve even made knives. This series is really high quality for the price. In spite of what other reviewers have said these have a full tang and they are real layered AUS-10 steel (they don’t come from Damascus, they are damascus style).They hold a really good edge, I have kitchen knives that cost a lot more that don’t hold as good an edge. I cook every day and this Kirisuke is my go to knife. In other words I use it every day for 1-2 meals. I had it sharpened 4 months ago and tonight I flawlessly sliced 20 tomatoes.

The media could not be loaded. Great so far after using a few times. Very sharp, won't find anything like this in most local stores. Value seems to be prefect for a nonchef but can't imagine how much better knives can be

The steel on this knife looks great for the money however, I was disappointed with the handle. In the pictures the handle looks cool and stylish but its actually cheap plastic and feels like it. The knife over all cuts and balances well. Honest review

This is a beautiful and super sharp knife. It feels great in my hand with great balance and not too heavy. This will definitely be my go to knife in my kitchen.

i own two kiritsukes by two diffferent makers both are excellent performers the price made this one stand out but so did the raindrop damascus my all time favorite but the knife is a dream to use yes it is blade heavy but still nimble is cuts simply motion is also reduced because being blade heavy it does the work of cutting for you when you experience this you will the begin to understand what i,m saying

My husband is so happy with this knife. So nicely crafted. We do not put it in the dishwasher.

Expected more from this product. Nicely packaged but when inspecting the edge with a magnifier it was evident that the sharpening was poor. The size of the edge fluctuated along the blade and was different from one side to the other. There were points along the edge where the sharpening edge was minimal in size.

It's very sharp..can't wait to use it..Quality knife..Love it!!!
