Exactly what I was looking for
I have been looking for a camera that allows me to keep eye contact with the people on the other side of the screen. I work from home and use 2 monitors in a regular basis. I have 27'' monitors and a camera that goes always on top of the monitors does not help when on video calls. I tried using an arm to position the camera in front of me during the calls, but it would obstruct the screen. I tried a tower camera but it would do the same. When I saw this camera I decided to give it a try. I love that I don't have to move the camera from place to place, it remains sitting on top of my main monitor and, when I get on calls, I just pull the lens down and it is not intrusive at all. The lens is at my eye level and I finally feel like I am making eye contact with the other callers. This camera has great resolution and the picture is crisp and nice. The camera is a little longer than regular webcams but I am willing to put up with the size if it helps me focusing on the screen instead of the camera. The camera adjusts the picture to the light, which is a great feature and, teamed up with Microsoft Teams, it does amazing! I think it is worth what you pay for. I am really happy with this camera. I also love that it is USB C instead of the old USB A interface.

Ease of use and quality of product
I've been searching for a way to feel more present and connected during my numerous Zoom and conference calls, and the iContact camera has absolutely delivered! From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by the simple and intuitive setup. Seriously, it was plug-and-play in the truest sense of the word. Within minutes, I had it connected and was ready to go. No complicated drivers or frustrating software installations – a huge win for someone like me who just wants things to work seamlessly. The video quality is also excellent – clear, crisp, and with good color reproduction. I've received compliments on how clear I look, which is always a nice bonus. While the improved eye contact is the standout feature, the solid video performance definitely adds to the overall positive experience.

Looking for a camera for zoom calls? Ok read this
Alright, it’s sort of sad that no good options exist to fix eye contact issues when using a monitor. Your options are this, then the plexi something which is a fancy plastic thing for $150 or get a tripod or something which does not work for zoom calls. That said here is the good and not so good about this. The camera is not Logitech! First it is an average camera equivalent to a $50 cheap camera. It’s no Brio. However it is good enough for general meetings. Not great if you are a content creator. I recommend getting the plexi something and get a high quality Logitech camera. But it works and is not obstructive when working on a monitor. Well you get used to it. It’s better than the plexi something. It is low profile enough to not be super buggy. There is no lens cover, but you can buy one from their website site for $8. Why? Well they know you will so they can charge for it.The camera arm does not adjust. So you will need to change the height of your monitor. Really? Yes. Maybe in the next version. When folded up, the camera does not swivel which means your video is vertical. Some conference apps allow you to fix that, however it seems you are on your iPhone as it is no longer wide length. On windows you can use apps such as Camo to fix that. But seriously why not let it swivel?Overall, it works and does what it is supposed do. But for this price these basics should have been fixed along with a better quality camera. Let’s hope they can fix it in v2 or Logitech comes out with this obvious feature. Or Zoom or Google can figure out how to use AI to fix eye contact / panning in real time on commodity laptops. Until then this is good enough, just does not feel worth $190!!!Ps if you plan to use a usb hub or a docking station it is sort of buggy on windows. Either get a docking station with its own power or have fewer usb devices connected otherwise it refuses to turn on.

Blurry pics
while it does allow you eye contact, the quality is sub par and looks blurry. Additionally, when it is left up versus lowering, it shows the pic sideways.

Eye to eye
Have a big display and was tired of having the zoom video window in the top of the screen. This camera solves it perfectly. Eye contact is finally possible. The color balance needs a bit of work every time as it changes radically depending of your light conditions, but it’s not a big issue imo. All and all, I’m very satisfied with it.

I somewhat begrudgingly still use this every day
The idea here is more engagement when using a big monitor. I used to be that guy you see in portrait mode on every call because I use my 27" monitor as my primary monitor. Now I get a slightly degraded video experience (compared to the built in MacBook Pro cam), but looking at the camera. It's fine and still worth it. I do occasionally get annoyed with the positioning blocking some text on the screen, but that's the trade off until someone out there invents a camera that works behind a monitor. I always use my headset mics, so I don't get any value from the camera mics, and so wish the unit was smaller there. I'd bump this up to 4 stars if this was cheaper.

Super professional camera
I have been wanting one of these for a long time! Great picture quality. It really makes a difference when holding meetings and directly looking at the participates. Super easy set up and a great value for the others that are out there.

Seamless installation even when sharing the camera between multiple computers.
This was the easiest product installation experience that I've ever had. I plugged the camera into a KVM switch and it just works with all of my computers. No configuration at all actually. Just plugged it in.
