If you want a cheap smart watch, this is the way. I've had one for years, bought one for a relative as a present. Both of us like it. Don't expect apple-level accuracy in things, but functionally this is fine. If you "need" more accuracy, then you should get an actual medical device. Battery lasts more than a week, notifications work once you set it up (easy to do) and you can opt-out of data collection in the app. I've banged this thing accidentally over the years and never had an issue. I've swam with it three times a week for years. There are replacement bands available here on Amazon (including some fabric ones I really like). Overall, it's amazing value for the price point.

After receiving the item and unboxing it I thought that it had a nice appearance and was well designed. It was easy to use and all the controls were intuitive. When I first activated it I needed to pair it to the software on my smartphone and update its firmware which was seamless and easy to do. I found the sensors and sleep tracking were very accurate as long as the watch was strapped tightly to my wrist. If I left the watch even a little bit loose then the data it reported was inaccurate. I haven't had any issues with the durability of the watch, it has held up well to daily use. Overall I would say that for what it costs the watch is an extremely good value. It was able to do exactly what I wanted, which was to track the quality and duration of my, as well as my blood oxygen throughout the night, and it did all of this very well for a fraction of the cost for a device that only tracked my sleep and had none of the other features of the watch that I find rather useful.

Setup was difficult. Had to consult Chat GPT to find that there is a known glitch when connecting with an iPhone. I persevered and finally got things connected and working. There are a number of things I like better than my previous fitness trackers - a weather app!, more responsive when I lift my wrist, AND it can ping my phone when I misplace it! Will it track my steps? Remains to be seen. Today is day one.

Couldn’t even set up an account initially. Says my valid Comcast email is not supported. No product support in the United States?? It worked eventually with a google email, but they should specify not compatible with all email. Not gonna lie, device is really nice for the price, just wish the set up was easier.

Functions as if brand new for a great price. Has a number of watch face options and does a good job of tracking steps and monitoring sleep. For a single purpose fitness watch it's great. Battery lasts forever too.

Very attractive $30 price point. Very similar physically and in feature set to other small, long battery life fitness trackers I've used (most recently the Amazfit Band 7). Good features, good screen, great battery life/ charging interval (although once or twice, it ate an enormous amount of battery in one day despite not changing any settings), decent interface with some quirks. And some of the time, various sensors seemed accurate and returned data that I could verify against other sources. Unfortunately, a lot of the time, the band would just wander into fantasy land. I'd get high heart rate warnings and a reading of 175 bpm when doing exercise that would maybe get me to 135 if I really pushed it. I'd sometimes get that same reading on a mild hike where I know from experience my heart rate was more like 105. At other times, I'd be in the middle of an exercise session (which I'd have initiated on the watch, and which it was tracking), and see it had me at my resting heart rate - even though the elliptical machine I was on (for example) had me at 125 or 130 bpm. Some of the resting blood oxygen readings also were clearly off, but I have low expectations for that feature on all fitness trackers. Sometimes the heart rate inaccuracy would spontaneously resolve itself mid session, but usually it would persist if I didn't take the watch off and/or restart it. Simple adjustment on the wrist didn't fix it often. And even restarting did not resolve the issue reliably. I experimented with different fits to try to address this accuracy issue, but nothing (tighter, looser, higher or lower on wrist) seemed to work. If anything, it seemed to prefer a looser fit, which surprised me. Sleep tracking seemed a little more optimistic than other solutions I've tried, but not crazy bad. Also, metric only, which I didn't find to be a problem, but was a little surprised at.

Je porte un autre modèle de Xiaomi depuis plus d’un an, et j’en suis très satisfait. J’ai donc acheté la XIAOMI Smart Band 9 Active pour mon fils de 10 ans, et ce choix s’est révélé excellent. Tout d’abord, le design est sobre et élégant. La montre est très légère, ce qui la rend extrêmement confortable à porter toute la journée, y compris pendant le sport ou à l’école. On l’oublie presque au poignet. Le bracelet est particulièrement bien conçu : il est facile à ajuster, solide, agréable au toucher et s’adapte parfaitement à différentes tailles de poignet. La taille de la montre est donc idéale aussi bien pour les enfants que pour les adultes. L’un des gros points forts est sans aucun doute la batterie. L’autonomie est excellente : elle tient facilement entre 7 et 10 jours, selon l’utilisation (notifications, activités, etc.). C’est un vrai confort de ne pas avoir à la recharger constamment. Le système de recharge est lui aussi très bien pensé. Le chargeur magnétique est simple à utiliser, la connexion se fait sans effort et tient parfaitement en place. Pas besoin de manipulations compliquées : on pose, ça s’aimante, et ça charge. L’interface est claire et intuitive, les fonctions essentielles sont présentes et bien exécutées. Pour une utilisation quotidienne, que ce soit pour suivre l’activité ou recevoir des notifications, elle remplit parfaitement son rôle. En résumé, la XIAOMI Smart Band 9 Active est une excellente montre connectée : stylée, légère, facile à utiliser, avec une autonomie impressionnante. C’est un très bon choix pour un enfant comme pour un adulte.
