So useful for me!
An excellent selection of pieces, perfect for use in church services.Very good 'manual only' arrangements, particularly useful for competant pianists, who are playing the organ at their church.

Really useful
I have now acquired all 6 of these volumes and they are enormously useful for service work, as voluntaries before and after the service and as fillers. They have really come into their own during the Covid epidemic when I have been providing music over Zoom from a home organ. They are exactly the right length, a wonderful variety to keep everyone's interest, beautifully presented and printed, and have introduced me to some composers I do not have in my collection. I really recommend them.

Good range of pieces, well organised
I'm only an occasional organist, standing in for a friend at a small church about once a month, so I need music that I can play at sight and not have to worry about. For that, this book is spot on. It's all on the manuals, which suits, and is well organised into sections for every part of a service so you don't have to spend ages trying to decide if a piece will be suitable. Any decent sight reader will be able to play through the book with fairly minimal practice, and the pieces are well selected, very few that I haven't enjoyed getting to know!

Must have selection for every organist
As expected this has exceeded my expectations. A considerable amount of care has gone into compiling these editions with some simple but very helpful registration advise for many of the pieces. The items are graded but should not be dismissed by the regular Sunday Organists, so many of these melodies just fit a service and are of the perfect length. There is plenty of contrast and styles to suit every organist. The manual only selections are also excellent and some items are very challenging.

Useful
A useful collection of oddments for all purposes. Rather too many Interludes for my uses, but apart from that very helpful. Perhaps some of the skitty lighter postludes will not have much of a place in standard Anglican Liturgy. But well worth having... Dr Sellwood
