Not cheap, but well worth it!
We've been to several parks and RV parks where Mutt Mitts are the bag of choice. I buy the ones with the black double material at the bottom and I love them. †hey are sturdy, well made, thicker than any I've found, but the great design feature is that the top is easy to open!!! Why aren't all bags made this way? One side is just slightly offset from the other so easy to get apart. Other bags require me to wet my fingers to get them open and I'm just not going to when it's the second bag I'm having to use and I'm already holding the first. Get these bags and find out what real material and design quality is.

Consistent quality, easy to use.
I’m here to make another purchase of Mutt Mitts which I’ve been using for about 15 years. I’ve purchased big boxes as well as the 100 cardboard header bags. I put the header and bags on a hanger and put it in the hall closet near where the leash is kept. My previous order was 2 years ago and they haven’t degraded but I’m sure it was just a matter of time. I keep about 3 bags tied on the flexi leash leash handle. The quality is excellent, they are thick and do not have a nauseating “fresh fragrance” applied because it’s not needed. Way better than the thin green bags or grocery bags.

When you want a premium bag for dog poop...
I first saw these when my sister gave me one to try - I thought they were an overpriced luxury. Who needs an extra layer of plastic just so you don't get poop on your hands lol? But they really are nice bags. They don't tear and they are thick enough so you really don't need the extra mitt feature to keep your hands clean. I guess if you are that skittish about getting poop on your hands...hehehehe. My favorite feature, and why they are getting 5 stars, is they are larger than most bags. I have two dogs and many times when I walk them I get a "two-fer" - you know what I mean. Yes, they hold double the poo. So if you don't mind paying extra for a nice sturdy bag, this fits the bill.

Mutt Mitt Dog Waste Pick Up Bags Are Super Pooper Scoopers.
These are by far the best quality pickup bags I have ever used. The thickness of them is adequate to control the odor and because the black portion of the bag is almost like a glove or mitten, picking up the dog stools is quite easy. Twisting the top of the bag into a knot is easy because there is plenty of extra length to do so. In an emergency when you are walking the dog and it needs water, the pocket in the bags could be used as a water bowl (if you happen to be carrying a bottle of water with you). The package of bags are held together by three staples that attach them to a folded, tough piece of cardboard that can be hung on a wall with a nail or screw when the center tabs on the cardboard are folded upward. The bags can be easily torn from the cardboard because of the slight perforations (a coupon style of perforation) on the forward side of the bag which is all that holds it to the package. You do not have to pull the bag through staples. A hole slightly less than 1/2" in diameter is cut in both tabs making it easy to hang up if you want to do so. The price is higher than any bags that I have used but the quality makes it well worth the slight extra cost.

Nice doggy bags , expensive , horrible shipping
Great item but expensive. Shipping from vendor is horrendous as it was delayed numerous times. Perhaps it is because I ordered it at an offered discount price. Several times I was contacted and offered the option of cancellation which gave me the impression that they don’t want to sell at the lower price.

The best bags I’ve ever used. Just wish they would change one thing.
I’ve had guide dogs for about 20 years I first ran into these bags at the guide dog school at that time. The company used to give out a lot of free ones to students. Sadly, they don’t do that anymore but I have continued to purchase them even though I have to pay for them now I’ve tried tons of different bags none have worked like these bags . The only thing I wish they would change would be to put them on a roll so that you could use standard poop bag dispensers. There’s somewhat of an annoyance to have to stuff into different pockets and things. It would be so much easier to use a roll of them. That’s the only reason I’ve tried other bags is because especially with a service dog Conveniences a must and I don’t like having to carry random bags everywhere but they’re still the best bags I’ve ever run into so I pay the much higher price and continue to buy them. However, when I try to buy more on Amazon, I found I could really only purchase the $44 box or the small packet , everything else was wholesale and they are not sold in any stores that I know of Petsmart does not carry them. Meaning I have to order them from Amazon so they’re making them a bit hard to get. Also, the other problem is they don’t have handles I am transitioning to a relieving harness for service and guide dogs The problem is that you have to have handled bags. These don’t have it so sadly, I might end up having to change.

Love the insulation I get between poop and hand
Love the insulation I get between poop and hand. And retrieving said dog do is a snap, even for an old codger such as myself. There are two issues, minor, but issues: FIRST...cannot do a double scoop; SECOND...finding the proper glove fit is problematic. My dog takes two dumps each outing. So when I pick up the first poo, that disallows using the Mitt for the second one. ThereforeI must use and carrying around two Mitts while handling a dog on her leash. A previous scoop I used allowed me to do multiple scoops before closing it up. I won't be going back to that previous one because it had other issues that the Mitt does not have. But double scooping is a definite plus that I wish Mitt had. Finding the thumb guide inside the Mitt so that I can get a proper grip on the poo is not easy to do...especially when holding onto a leash with a dog straining to move by pulling on it. Both sides of the Mitt look the same from the outside. So I never know which side has the thumb guide. A simple make the thumb side a different color (both sides are black now) would go a long way in remedying this issue.

I've been using Mutt Mitts, both the 2-pligh and the singles for almost 16 years, with multiple dogs. I'm a guide dog handler, so finding a decent bag is paramount. They also can't say officially that they biodegrade, but I know for a fact that they do. If you can, buy in bulk. The price is better. But, if you're broke like me, this pricepoint fits into a budget and the quality can't be beat. They're easy to hang on a few command hooks by the door and you can use them for just about anything: diapers, mouldy food, sneaking food out, ... anything! Buy and try.

These are awesome for what they're intended for.

It is what you expect, a double bag for picking up waste. It's not flimsy, will not tear accidently, etc. Came fast, will reorder again. Sadly, it was cheaper to buy two of these instead of the box of 200

I felt that "Mutt Mitt" implied that the bag was some sort of glove, perhaps somewhat similar to those used in medical situations. Had this been the case, picking up dog poop would have been much easier than with a plain bag; that's what I was expecting. That said, I do approve of the "2-ply design" part of the product. Unfortunately, the portion with the double-ply is only large enough to accommodate a limited amount of poop; not nearly enough room for what a large dog can produce, nor is there room for several medium poops at once. To be frank, a cheap, ordinary poop bag has greater capacity. The Mutt Mitt is a good concept, but it doesn't meet my expectations at this price point.
