Reolink 12MP PoE Security Camera System with 8CH NVR 2TB HDD, RLK8-1200V4

great system, used my old swann cables to pull the new ones in so quite a quick job to set up. My system needed a reset and you have to take the lid off to do this, it helps a little knowing something of electronics. Brilliant pictures, great megapixel views, being able to turn on the spotlights at night makes it all look daytime. Liked these cameras as fully enclosed so out of the way of spiders and idiots who may want to twist them around. Great step up from my old 1080p system.

Following my previous review, you kindly replied and offered me a full refund. But Amazon does not let you “reply” to that comment because “I already left feedback”. So apologies I’ve been working out a way to get you a reply. I don’t want a refund and I trust your products I use other cameras of yours to protect my building sites and there brilliant. What would be super helpful, was if you had a back box for this camera. I’ve searched high and low and cannot see you have created one?. For other cameras you do, this would serve two benefits, it allows the user to tilt the camera and store the long cables they come with if they decided to wall mount them instead of have them installed on there soffit boards. If use done a back box for this camera it would have solved all my issues. Maybe this is a solution ? If not potentially I would look to just change them for another set of 12MP cameras you recommend? That are specifically for wall mount installation and if they have surplus cable maybe have a back box? I’ve attached a photo of what we had to do to store the surplus cable which wasn’t ideal because we spent a lot of money renovating the property using silicone render. It would have been neater with the back box but these cameras are an unusual shape as you know there not quite round. More of a round triangle type shape.

Build quality of the NVR and Vandal Proof Cameras is excellent. Installation was straightforward including the addition of a Reolink PoE switch to simplify cabling in my home. It did require being left for 12 hours or so once all Ethernet cabling was connected and devices powered up to allow the network to stabilise. Can’t comment on reliability yet, so only four stars for now. Remote access via mobile phone proving problematic, some changes required to my router ports required. Reolink do provide some help in achieving this but a setup wizard would be better.

Tutto molto semplice da collegare, io ho 2 telecamere collegate direttamente su NVR e 4 su switch poe, funziona tutto molto bene. Risoluzione e nitidezza pensavo un po’ meglio visto i 12MP ma comunque buona. Unica pecca, memoria un po’ piccola rispetto a tutto il sistema, 2TB con 6 telecamere 12MB sono pochini, registro al massimo 3 giorni e poi inizia la sovrascrittura, mi sto organizzando per il cambio hard disk ma è un operatore costosa montando una memoria dedicata alla video sorveglianza.

Excellente qualité, produits, fiable et performant

Il prodotto ha sicuramente dei punti positivi, ma ci sono diversi aspetti che ne limitano l'usabilità e la qualità complessiva. PRO: Le immagini sono davvero di buona qualità offrendo sicuramente un buon risultato. La configurazione è estremamente semplice, grazie al fatto che è plug and play. Non c'è bisogno di impostazioni complicate o tecniche. L’applicazione per smartphone è davvero facile da usare, senza troppi fronzoli. CONTRO: Il software locale è macchinoso e non del tutto intuitivo. Anche se la parte hardware è buona, l'interfaccia utente non è delle migliori e alcune funzioni risultano difficili da navigare. Le traduzioni non sono precise e alcune voci nel menù risultano poco chiare, il che può creare confusione durante l’utilizzo. I cavi LAN in dotazione sono di qualità davvero scarsa. Sono sottili e poco resistenti, compromettendo la stabilità della connessione. È un peccato che non venga incluso qualche plug RJ45 per il cabaggo autonomo. Un piccolo accessorio che avrebbe fatto la differenza, ma che bisogna acquistare separatamente. I tasselli sono solo per muro e non per cappotto, e sono di qualità veramente economica, il che non rende il montaggio stabile o duraturo. In conclusione, sebbene ci siano dei punti positivi, la qualità complessiva e la mancanza di accessori fondamentali e di un software più fluido, mi portano a dare solo 2 stelle. Non soddisfa completamente le aspettative, soprattutto considerando il prezzo.
