Works well
The RXUTOTE Ultrasonic Retainer Cleaner Machine is really well made. The outer shell is plastic with a metal bowl inside where the cleaning happens. The part with the metal bowl comes out for easy filling and cleaning, just drop it back into place and you are ready to start. Put your retainer or jewellery into the bowl, close the lid, press the button, and wait for the 5 minute cycle to complete. The unit makes some noise but it's not very loud, it vibrates a lot but does not move on the counter or get warm to touch. I do not have dentures or retainers but I did try using this on some jewellery and it worked pretty well without doing any sort of damage to my items. Price is in the middle of similar devices so I would say it's a good value.

I was skeptical but surprised
If you do a quick search on these kinds of devices, you can very easily get either mixed reviews or poor reviews, which is pretty uncommon for the way review systems are in the west (most things that even remotely "work" are highly rated). Regardless, I decided to give it a try since I had the chance. On first use it's hard to tell exactly what the ultrasonic device did, but it was pretty clear that SOMETHING had happened. You simply load in the water in the case and let it do its thing, and after its done the water is much warmer and a little bit murkier. Personally, I found that there was a small decrease in some of the marks on my retainer but definitely didn't clear it all off.Second use, I noticed that my retainer was actually.. much clearer than before! I got convinced that it was working for me, and since then have been using it once every couple of days (to make sure I don't over use the UV rays). It's a super simple plug and play device with a nice stainless steel interior that's easy to clean. Really no complaints although the price can be a bit hefty - it's more expensive than other cleaning methods like using vinegar and baking soda, but I find that it's more time effective and definitely less stinky. Worth a try if you have the money to buy it!

A Decent 260ml Ultrasonic Cleaner
This ultrasonic cleaner uses high-frequency sound waves to provide a deep cleaning and an LED blue light to disinfect. So far, adding this to my nightly dental partial cleaning routine, it has been doing an amazing job at keeping my dental partial feeling new. It is also designed to clean dentures, retainers, and small to medium-sized jewellery. It has a very easy-to-operate single cleaning mode that can effectively remove embedded dirt and surface stains without causing damage to the items being cleaned. With its excellent capacity of 260 ml, it offers portability, and the soft touch button on the front of the base makes it very easy to operate. The base has four anti-slip pads that keep it firmly in place on flat surfaces when docked, which also helps reduce noise. It is one of the quietest cleaners I have used to date, with only one other model I have used being a bit quieter than this one.Having used 10 similar ultrasonic cleaning products, I have a fair bit of experience with these. (see side note.) Using this one, I only handwash my dental partial with a bit of soap nightly to ensure that the water does not get dirty while the partial remains in it over night. With just that small amount of precleaning, this ultrasonic cleaner has done an amazing job of keeping my dental partial feeling brand new. The blue light, which is easily observed through the transparent top of the base lid, has an excellent amount of brightness, so I trust that it is doing a good job at disinfecting. Though it is a bit louder than one of the other 10 units I have used in the past, for it's amazing performance, 1 of the top 3 for excellent cleaning results, it is a trade-off that I am more than happy to live with. When comparing the cleaning performance, noise factor, size, and ease of emptying, refilling, and cleaning it, it is the best unit of the 11 I have tried to date, just slightly bettering one of my more compact units for size and noise factor.SIDE NOTE:In all cases, when testing an ultrasonic cleaner on my partial, I will start out by doing a lower level of precleaning to evaluate the ultrasonic cleaning performance. So far, these smaller ultrasonic cleaners do a decent job of "helping" to remove stains and other types of buildup, plus they provide excellent disinfection without the use of chemicals (blue light). I have found that most are not meant to do all the work, though, and I may need to do extra manual cleaning at times—some ultrasonic cleaners require more manual precleaning than others. I may also need to run things through more than 1 cycle. In all cases, I still manually clean my partial after daily use before running it through any ultrasonic cleaner to keep the water at a decent quality for overnight storage of my partial and do a more thorough cleaning with a brush once a week when changing the water. (This cleaner does an excellent job without much precleaning required; even just rinsing it quickly with soap, it maintains my partial very well.) But even with it's excellent performance, I will do a weekly brushing on my partial. Using this one, I could do the brushing less often if I choose to.

Very good to have
I’m pretty impressed with how it keeps my retainers fresh with zero hassle. The 45kHz ultrasonic frequency really does the trick, making it easy to drop my retainers in, hit start, and let it work its magic. Super Convenient: It has a 260ml removable tank, which makes it easy to fill and clean. Plus, I don’t have to scrub anything! Deep Cleaning: The 45kHz ultrasonic power gets into all the tiny crevices, which leaves my retainers feeling way cleaner than manual rinsing. Low Noise: It’s quieter than I expected, which is nice if you’re running it in the morning or late at night.Drying Feature: A drying feature would make it a perfect all-in-one. I have to leave my retainers out for a bit after cleaning, which is a minor hassle.Tank Size: 260ml is a good size for small appliances, but if you have larger retainers, you might find it a bit snug.Overall, it’s a really handy device for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a low-effort cleaning solution for retainers or other small dental appliances.

Good
Perfect for cleaning retainers or dentures. I personally use these to clean my retainers. All you need to do is add water and a tablet to clean your retainers. I would recommend using denture cleaning tabs as this doesn't clean enough by itself. I really like that the base is removable so you don't have to worry about damaging it when you clean the retainer holder. It is very easy to use - just put the retainer holder on the base, close the lid and press the button to start. Overall I would definitely recommend using these if you have retainers or dentures as it does help to clean your retainers better and I feel my retainers keep their clear colour and not cloudy.
