Car Keyless Entry System (KS023)

Nice small design, can be installed anywhere! Great locking features and very easy to use. The performance is outstanding and the range is perfect. Installed in my truck in 30 minutes. If you know a little bit about car stereo and alarms, it's a breeze, can't beat the price. Not liking much stuff in my pockets. These little remotes are perfect! 5 wipes and it's done! Easy!

I've installed probably a dozen of these units. They don't differ much. I picked this one simply for the low profile fob. Very slim, very nice. I like a light keychain and this is the answer. I'm going to buy another and switch out the unit in one of my other vehicles. The fobs alone are worth the $20. The little flashing LED telling that the unit has been locked is a nice addition.

I've used products like these it's on and off for years, but I was pleasantly surprised by the design of this kit, unlike others. And the price is very affordable. This kit comes with everything you need to tap into an existing lock system in almost any car. I used this system in my 88 Lincoln Town Car successfully.However, one thing I do recommend that the instructions do not make clear... If you are wiring into a unlock/lock relay switching system, like many older cars, you need to use diodes for both the unlock and lock signal wires from the box. Otherwise while the box is inactive, it can give feedback and create a closed current for both the unlock and lock signal.Other than that, I highly recommend this kit for an experienced technician. Especially for the price. My favorite thing is the sleak remote design.
