how long does it last without open it?

If you put it in soil it’s going to sprout and also stay alive. If not, you can keep it in the freezer, but I doubt it’s going to spriut after staying in the freezer.

It comes in sealed polythene and is quite fresh. It might grow with some rooting powder.

I thought it was good value for money.

Quality is top notch but amount possibly more than one could reasonably get through in a reasonable time frame. Ended up grating and freezing most of it.

Found this to be quite dry. Had probably been in storage for a while.

It was usable, but very woody and quite dry. Other fresh horseradish roots I've used in the past have been quite easy to grate and had a little moisture to them.
