This YOBTOP Epoxy Resin Kit is a great way to get started in resin casting. The resin is easy to mix and use. It sets well and has very few bubbles. If you are looking for an affordable way to get started using resin, this kit is a great, it is the perfect size for beginners. Not too small an amount and not too much that you might waste it. You can also order dyes to color it whatever color your heart desires.

I only gave this stuff 4 stars because the last stuff I used had way too many air bubbles no matter what I did and this stuff didn't, but it took almost 2 full days to cure which where I live it doesn't usually take more than 12 hours.

This dried hard and clear I don't see any yellowing after a few months.

I finally had a chance to use this Epoxy kit and it is fantastic! I absolutely love the way it will completely degas and leave virtually no bubbles; if there is a bubble in the surface, a quick touch with a torch, heat gun or a lighter will pop them.The thing to remember with this and most any clear epoxy kit is to measure the two halves of the epoxy carefully... you want equal parts A and B. Mix them thoroughly, but slowly. The faster you mix, the more bubbles you will generate. You WILL generate some bubbles while mixing... it's virtually impossible not to. But the slower you mix, the fewer bubbles will be generated. The two parts are not thin, like water, but thick, like syrup. Pour slowly and mix carefully.When you pour the mix into your mold, just go slowly, making the epoxy gently flow into the sides of the mold. Let it sit and give it time to harden. I find putting a cover over the poured mold (I just use a cardboard box with the bottom cut out) to keep out the dust while the epoxy hardens. After 12 hours the mold will be mostly hard, but leaving it for 24 hours will allow it to reach maximum hardness.You get a lot for your money, and if you take your time, your results will be fantastic!

Pretty standard good quality resin kit at a good price considering you get 32oz (4 cups) of resin! As with any resin that you mix manually, you're going to have bubbles. Simply use a hair dryer (I use a heat gun on low setting) and the bubbles will rise to the top and go away. One problem I've had with other resins is that they can yellow after a little while. So that's why I waited to review this, to be sure it wouldn't yellow, and it hasn't! I appreciate how the bottle is such that you only sue what you need and save the rest for later. I find the ones with the two barrel dispensers tend to dry up after the first use. A lot less wasted with this product since it seals well and is reusable.

Still soft after 8 hours. Ruined several projects trying to figure it out.UPDATE: This resin takes at least a full 24 hours to cure. Stirring slow and letting it sit a few minutes didn't really work to remove air bubbles.
