High quality, reasonable price
This saw took the end product of my average wood working skills from meh to acceptable. The blade is sharp, cuts smooth fast and is easy to accurately control. Plus seems to be reasonably resilient to accidental abuse.

Best Fine Saw Ever!
I have a fair number of rip (and cross cut saws) but for my fine, detailed work, e.g., dovetails and cutting very straight cuts, this is the best saw I have ever owned, by far! If I were to give anything negative, due to the very fine teeth, it does cut a bit slow but I use this for fine, high quality cuts; I have other high-end back saws for faster cuts.

Excellent saw - could have a better handle.
Excellent saw but it could have a more comfortable handle. I suppose there are many ways to hold this saw and therefore they made a handle that is symmetrical and with the most comfort for many uses. I just finished my first job with this saw and it took a couple of hours to get the feel of it. I really liked the accuracy, thin kerf, and how quickly it cut through hard oak. As someone mentioned the short tang in their review, I didn't find that as much of a problem, at least not yet. I bought both the rip and crosscut blades and will switch between them as I feel the handle is overpriced when compared with just buying the blades. SUPERIOR cutting!

Great saw however one small detail
This is really is a great saw the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 is because there was about 1/4"x1/4" chip out around the fastener that holds the handle and blade together. It's going to get used pretty well so it's not a huge deal and I have a dark walnut stain that I can precisely apply that should be similar color. but I suppose it's one of those things you notice when youre taking it out of the plastic sleeving for the first time.
